Enver Gortash was not a kind man. He was kind enough to give the people employed under him an honest paycheck. Kind enough to offer people a place in his gang so long as they were capable at handling their jobs. And he was kind enough to pay his respects to those who performed well. But kind people did not willingly consort with devils nor strike deals with them to betray those who trusted him most. This was a lesson Karlach learnt far too early in her life.
