“Ow!” Eijirou pouts playfully at the light slap Katsuki gives his hand when he tries to adjust the collar of his suit for the third time. “It’s too tight.”
“Not my fault you’re so fuckin’ big,” Katsuki scoffs quietly, resisting the urge to pull on his own.
It’s sweltering in the summer air, but they only have a few blocks left to go, and they need to show up to this hearing looking as best they can. He laces his fingers with Eijirou’s so the alpha won’t try pulling on his tie again, but it does little to stop Eijirou from fidgeting.

Kirishima Eijirou awoke to the sun streaming through his curtains and birds singing their merry songs. He also awoke to a splitting headache. His omega body was getting ready to breed. Three sarcastic cheers for summer heats. He groaned and pulled the blankets higher over his head. Another gorgeous week of summer wasted on his dumb biology.
Before he could drop too deep into self-pity his phone vibrated on the nightstand. He brightened when he saw the name and contact photo on the screen. Bakugou Katsuki, holding aloft his medal from their senior year sports festival, smiled with his alpha fangs on display.
“Hey, Baku-bro! What’s up?”
“Ei! Hi!” Katsuki’s voice sounded shaky. “Do you want to come… to lunch? Today. Lunch today with me.”
“Sure!” Eijirou hopped out of bed and walked to his closet to find something nicer than work-out clothes. He’d dress up for lunch with his best friend, especially because Japan’s Number Two Hero always paid on their lunch dates.
Not dates… They weren’t dating. But Katsuki did buy him food, and it made Eijirou’s omega instincts preen.

Summary
A hand curls around the back of his neck and forces him to lean forward until their foreheads press together. Bakugou’s red eyes are intense, staring into his own. “Kirishima, you haven’t ruined anything. Everything’s fine. We’re good, aren’t we?” He waits a second and when Eijirou does nothing more than hiccup, trying to swallow back his tears, he growls, “So, we’re not good? You gotta talk to me.”
“No, no, we are!” Eijirou grabs onto Bakugou’s shirt when he withdraws a few inches, keeping him close. “I’m just upset! I didn’t mean to let everyone find out, I know you wanted to keep things a secret and—” A hand closes over his mouth, cutting off his sentence.
“What,” Bakugou’s voice is hard and furious, “do you mean I wanted to keep things a secret?”
A story where they have a few misunderstandings, but they work it out in the end.
