This last week had been awkward. Not in a sense that bad things had happened but that his body just felt weird. Yunho remembers sitting at his desk doing his job when he just out of no where, got this pain in his gut. It wasn’t harrowing but it wasn’t nice either. Wooyoung had joked that he probably just needed to use the restroom. Besides the random feelings he would get in his stomach he also found a big desire to be with his partner. Neither Yunho or Mingi where particularly clingy but both enjoyed the others presence more then anything. But this week had Yunho feeling like if Mingi was not here right now then he could do nothing but cry. This sudden urge to be with him and to hold him had even made Yunho surprised himself.
Both boys where now at home cuddling on their couch. Mingi had noticed a slight change in Yunho’s behaviour and his constant need to be held.
“Baby are you feeling alright?” Mingi asked while brushing his hand through his lovers hair.
“Mmh, I’m not sure I’ve been feeling kinda weird lately,” he replied.
“Weird how?” Mingi questioned further.
“Just random stomach pains, sometimes it’s not even painful my tummy just feels weird and I’ve been kinda tired and..” Yunho stopped himself from talking and a blush crept along his cheeks.
“And what?” Mingi had moved Yunho’s face to now face directly towards his.
“… I’ve just really missed you a lot.” Yunho didn’t make eye contact.
Mingi smiled, kissed Yunho’s forehead and pulled him closer into his chest.
“I always miss you baby, every day I’m not able to see you it just doesn’t feel right.” Yunho was now blushing even harder.
“Is your stomach hurting now?” Mingi asked.
“Only a little,” Yunho replied. They just sat there for a bit enjoying each other’s embrace before speaking again.
“Do you wanna ask someone about it?” Mingi suggested.
“Who should I ask?” Yunho questioned.
“You could see a doctor or if you don’t wanna you could even just try asking someone, maybe like Seonghwa hyung,” Mingi said. Yunho sat and thought before grabbing Mingi’s phone. He would have used his but it was in their room and he didn’t feel like getting up. Yunho scrolled through his contacts until he eventually found Seonghwa’s. He dialed the number and within a few rings he picked up.
“Hey guys what’s up?”
“Hey hyung I just wanted to talk to you about something really quick,” Yunho said. Seonghwa nodded and Yunho quickly began telling him about his week. Seonghwa cooed when Yunho mentioned him missing Mingi so much.
“Do you know your not sick?”
“Yea because I would have had some other symptoms by now,” Yunho replied.
“ I know this is gonna be awkward but when was the last time you two, you know, met with the birds and the bees?” Seonghwa questioned. Yunho looked away from the camera and Mingi began to blush.
“I don’t know exactly but not that long ago,” Mingi responded. Yunho had buried his head into Mingi’s chest to not show how red his face was.
“Well did you use protection?”
Both the boys looked at each other for a little while before answering.
“No we didn’t,” Yunho stuttered out.
“Have you considered maybe that you could be pregnant?” Both Mingi and Yunho just sat there not saying anything.
“I never really thought about it no,”
“Well off you go then and take a test, and I best be first to know what happens,” Seonghwa then hung up the phone.
It had been 20 minutes since they ended their call with Seonghwa and they where now at a close buy convenience store. Ever since Seonghwa had mentioned the idea of pregnancy Yunho hadn’t let go of Mingi’s hand. Mingi and Yunho had previously talked about having kids but that was years ago. It wasn’t til about last month where Mingi has asked how Yunho felt about it. They both agreed on staying away from protection and if it happened then it happened. So even if it was technically planned it’s still understandable that they would be a little bit nervous. Mingi had guided Yunho to the counter where they paid and then set back home. The walk home was quiet but each understood how the other was feeling, a baby is a huge responsibility. Upon arriving, Yunho had pretty much immediately locked him self in the bathroom, not wanting Mingi to see it happen. About 5 minutes had passed and Mingi was sitting in front of the bathroom door waiting.
“You alright in there babe?” He asked. It was a few seconds of silence before Yunho answered.
“Yea I’m just nervous to look at it.” Mingi could hear it in his voice.
“It’s okay baby take your time, I’ll sit here and wait.” Yunho smiled wide. In all the years they had been together he was always so thankful for Mingi’s patience. No matter what was happening with him Mingi always waited and when he was no longer waiting he always knew the right thing to say. It was like he was reading Yunho’s mind. He had finally gained enough courage to turn and look at the test on the counter.
Mingi was seated on the floor when all of a sudden the bathroom door flung open and Yunho was in his arms. Immediately he hugged him and rubbed soothing circles on his back. Yunho had stopped hugging him to show Mingi the test. Right there flashing in front of his face it read the word positive. Mingi had now joined Yunho in crying and hugged him again. They both sat there just hugging and crying with the occasional kiss placed on Yunho’s ear and face.
“Mingi I can’t believe it, we are going to be parents,” Yunho cried out. Mingi had pulled out of the hug and placed his hand on Yunho’s cheek.
“Yunho I love you so so much it’s unbelievable, and now we get to have someone else to love as well.” Mingi pulled Yunho into a deep kiss. It wasn’t filled with passion or desire but simply never ending love for one and other.
Once they had finally left the hallway floor and where seated on the bed, they decided to tell their friends. They had their group chat open on each of their phones.

Both boys continued to text and laugh with their friends. They were so lucky to have such supportive and amazing friends.
A few weeks had past and the boys house was filled with nothing but love. Mingi and Yunho where both so excited to have a little them running around. It was still fairly early on at about 10 weeks and only now could the tiniest bump be seen, and even though it was super small they were both so amazed. Their friends and family had came and visited giving both gifts and congratulations. Telling their parents is what they where most nervous of. Their friends was easy. They had called Mingi’s parents a few days after they found out and asked if they would be up for some dinner. They agreed and the next weekend Mingi, Yunho and Mingi’s mum and dad where all sat in the boys dinning room. It was a normal dinner both parties having fun but then Mingi had mentioned that they had some important news to share. Yunho told them the story and both parents cried out with joy. They immediately embraced the boys and Mingi’s mum smothered Yunho’s face with kisses stating how proud she was and how happy that her son could find someone so wonderful to have children with. It was a lovely day for everyone even if a few tears where shed. Telling Yunho’s parents was next, though it was more like parent. Yunho had grown up with only his mother and had never once met his father. As a kid he used to wonder why all the other kids had two parents but as he aged he came to terms with it and will always say that his mum raised him well enough he wouldn’t have even needed a dad anyway. Yunho knew his mum would be happy but he was still quite anxious. Mingi had noticed and brought it up one day. Yunho admitted to feeling a little sad for his mum as she had to be alone for so many years and raising a child and he got to be in the best relationship ever and was so happy. Mingi understood his feelings but assured him his mother wants nothing but for her son to be the happiest he can be. Yunho had said it before but it’s true that Mingi always knew what to say. They next day they had showed up to Yunho’s mothers house at around 11am. She had been informed that they had important news and she was clearly worried that something had happened to one of them. But seeing the excitement on his mother’s face when he announced they where having a baby was enough to wash away all his worries. His mum was truly the best out there. They spent most of there afternoon there just hanging out. Though when Yunho had gone to the bathroom his mum pulled Mingi aside and bear hugged him so tight. Mingi remembers tearing up a little when she had said that she was so thankful for him for making her baby the happiest person ever. He of course hugged her back and stated he would blow up planets if it meant that yunho was happy and healthy. After saying goodbye and a few more hugs they headed home. Which lead them right here in this moment.
Yunho was currently unlocking their front door and Mingi was just smiling behind him. Once inside and their shoes where on the rack Mingi pulled Yunho into a loving embrace. Yunho was shocked but obviously hugged him back.
“Yunho.. thank you, thank you so so much for loving me everyday because without you I don’t think I could live and I can not put it into words how grateful I am that you chose me and that we are having a baby together,” Mingi said as a few tears slipped from his eyes. Yunho’s heart melted and he placed a whole heap of kisses around Mingi’s face.
“Baby I will love you til the end of time and I didn’t chose you, we where destined to be together and every moment with you is the best moment of my life and I’m beyond excited to be able to bring mini versions of us into this world because a family with you is the greatest gift ever.” A few tears had escaped from Yunho’s eyes as well. They stood hugging each other not wanting to let go. It truly goes without saying that the best thing in their lives was each other and when together they could accomplish anything they wish to.
They both changed and climbed into bed. The bed was one of Mingi’s favourite places, because the whole time he got to cuddle and be close to the person he loved most. Yunho was currently lying down with his back on the bed but his head on Mingi’s shoulder. He was obviously very sleepy. Mingi played with Yunho’s hair and placed his other hand on Yunho’s stomach. Yunho placed his hand over Mingi’s and interlocked their fingers. Even without words spoken they both knew what the other was saying. Their child was growing right in their. Neither boys had ever been happier
