"Hug."
That was what Nico heard as Will stood in the doorway of his cabin.
"What?" answered Nico noticing his boyfriend standing there with his arms outstretched and a frown on his face.
"Hug," Will answered him again.
Nico simply gave him a look of consternation.
"Oh come on, hug means hug, who's going to give this poor guy a hug?" Nico didn't understand his boyfriend's sudden need for a hug but simply looked at him and raised his arms in response.
Will turned from his dramatic pose of exasperation to a smile, bright enough to light up the entire darkened Cabin 13, and launched himself at Nico.
The boy on the bed received a giant six-foot tackle, letting out a small "oof" as he felt the taller one's weight on top of him.
"What's wrong?" Nico asked him as he didn't understand the sudden situation.
"Nothing," the blond replied with his face buried in his hair. "Do I have to have a reason to hug you?" he said with a terrifyingly charming look on his face.
"Hmm," Nico crooned. "You're like a needy little boy," the son of Hades joked snuggling more into Will's chest.
Apollo's son chuckled and positioned his hand on Nico's lower back then switched positions flipping Nico over with him, likewise laying the boy on top of his torso.
Nico let out a yelp at the sudden change of position.
Will positioned his hands around his face and squeezed his cheeks, then pulled him closer to kiss him. The opposite put up no resistance and they both let go.
Nico really hated spontaneity, it caused him a kind of uneasiness. But every time Will did things like this, he could do nothing but feel immense reassurance.
You could say he even came to love it when Will unexpectedly came along and showered him with affection.
That was the only unexpected thing he really expected.
He just hoped that it wouldn't one day kill him out of love.
