You May Kiss Your Candy

Summary:

There was his only chance, taking his choice of weapons, left his jeep and noticed the man that he had a crush on since high school, and took a gamble on that, hoping he won't end up in his dad's jail cell.

Stiles hid his weapon in his pants' pocket and then headed over to the man, waited for the guy to finish his phone call, before he bumped into him, making the man look at him, "Stiles, is that you?"

Stiles looked up at the man, believing that Derek will forget his name by now.

"Obviously," Stiles replied and added, pulling his weapon from his pants' pocket and aimed it at Derek's back, "You are my hostage now, and coming with me."

Work Text:

Stiles hates his best friend. Loved him like a brother, feeling trapped as Jackson asked him to bring his boyfriend, which he kept telling everyone that he has, when he actually doesn't have one.

Stiles didn't know why he had to bring his boyfriend to Jackson's wedding. He wondered if Jackson could see through his lies.

Don't forget to bring your boyfriend, Ethan and I will love to make acquaintances with him.

Stiles calculated his options, knowing fair and well that if he is going to ask anyone, they will reject him right away.

"Are you going to kidnap me?" Derek asked with a smile marked widely on his face.

"Of course," Stiles replied, hoping Derek will cooperate.

"Well, we both know that you aren't allowed to hold a gun, considering what got you banned from the shooting range," Derek reminded him with a soft smile.

"You remember it? I thought you never saw me," Stiles said.

"You don't remember that your dad invited the Hale's kids to a shooting range?" Derek asked back.

"No, I rather had a very traumatized day, and I'm pretty sure you all saw it, if you were there," Stiles replied.

"We were seeing it, I told to my sisters not to laugh, we could see you struggling, and you were clumsy with the gun," Derek told him softly, and then he added, "Do you remember the part where I ask you to accompany me while I was taking my first shot?"

"That was blurry. I didn't believe that you would ask me. I was literally the invisible one that no one sees," Stiles said sadly.

"You think I didn't see you? How could I not see you? You are beautiful, kind, smart, and I know you were the anonymous tip that got Kate caught," Derek asked, staring at Stiles, seeing the other man gazing at him with his mouth agape as Derek smiled at him.

"How did you know it was me? It was an anonymous tip!" Stiles exclaimed.

"I've seen the way you were grinning when your dad and the deputies took Kate away, and Stiles," Derek replied with a wide smile, "Thank you, I don't know how you figured it out, but you saved my life that day."

Stiles smiled back at him, his crush just praised him, Stiles could feel his cheeks flushed.

Derek changed the object, noticed how embarrassed and beautiful Stiles looked with his cheeks flushed as he sniffed the air. "Is that the peppermint flavor?"

Stiles looked at him in surprise. "What are you talking about?"

"The cane, candy cane that you are holding in my back. Is it the peppermint flavor? Is it a big edition candy cane?" Derek asked when Stiles gave him a look, his green eyes shining with excitement. He couldn't stop himself from smiling at Stiles.

"You are not letting me kidnap you easily, aren't you?" Stiles sighed, defeated, as he handed the candy cane to Derek.

Derek grabbed Stiles' arm before the other man left. "Stiles, wait, why did you want to kidnap me?"

"I needed a plus one for Jackson's wedding, and I might have told him I have a boyfriend, which I don't have."

"I can be your boyfriend, as long as you keep the candy canes coming," Derek offered as he already ripped the nylon from the candy and started licking it.

"Are you serious?"

"Of course, maybe we could seal it with a kiss," Derek suggested, noticing the way Stiles looked at him with his mouth agape, Derek licked his candy and then he leaned to kiss Stiles, feeling Stiles's tongue clashing with his, the kiss was perfect.

When the kiss was broken, Derek asked him with a grin, "Is that kiss approved?"

Stiles nodded, didn't expect his crush kissing him like that, but he was having one problem.

That was his last candy cane.

"Umm... Derek, it was my last candy cane," Stiles said, embarrassed, not expecting that actually the other man will be his boyfriend and addicted to candy cane.

Why can't his life be easier?

"Let's go shopping. I know the right place," Derek provided, entwining his hand with Stiles, "Come on, I need my refill, and by all means, buy for yourself too, boyfriend."

Stiles smiled back at him and looked at Derek in awe.

Unbeknown to them, a citizen of the small town started filming, and some even sent the video to the mayor and the sheriff.

The video of them kissing in the street in broad daylight made them popular.

---

Talia received a video through her WhatsApp from her youngest daughter, Cora.

When she opened the file, she couldn't help but smile, seeing her middle child smiling. Talia admits to herself that seeing Derek like this, she has never seen him smile like this since Kate, and now it fills her heart with joy.

Talia made a call to the sheriff.

"John, I do not know if you have already seen the video. Something good is happening with our sons," Talia said as she heard the greeting from the sheriff.

"What Stiles did now?" John asked, sighing as he wondered why he didn't gotten the video yesterday.

"I'll send you the video, and John, I have never seen my son that happy," Talia said, and then she added asking, "I know you are going to Jackson's wedding, I'll be there too, who are you going to replace you while we stay in Vegas?"

"Parrish," John replied, and asked, "You?"

"Laura," Talia replied, proudly, knowing her oldest will do the best for this town, "I also called to remind you that Stilinski and Hale will depart in the private jet tonight. I thought it would be for the best."

"Yeah, it will give me the time to tell my son to behave," John chuckled.

Talia laughed, bid a good day to the sheriff, as John did the same.

When the sheriff received the video from the mayor and saw it, he wanted to catch his son and wriggle around him, but then he could see Derek's smiling.

Seeing his son and Derek kissing and the smile when he noticed the candy cane, the sheriff couldn't help as he cried out loud, his son should work on his technique, all that was left was to see in his own eyes those two in Vegas, he hoped he won't regret it.

----

When they reached the sweet shop, Derek motioned to Stiles, "I'll be over here, need a refill, get your favorite candy. I'll be waiting for you."

Stiles found his favorite candy, took as much as he could and then he walked over the cart that Derek kept near him and put them inside. Derek looked at the pile that Stiles brought, "Is that it? Bring more, I'm paying,"

Stiles could feel his cheeks flushing. He was certain that was not the same Derek he knew at high school, that Derek never looked at him that way. Maybe it was just for the show as Stiles was the one who asked him to be his boyfriend for the wedding.

Stiles headed back over the Reese shelves and picked more of it as he placed it in the cart.

"Stilinski!"

Stiles turned around, noticed Jackson, and knew it wasn't good. Nope, he should hide.

Stiles went on hiding, standing behind Derek, hoping the other man will save him.

"Stilinski, I saw you hiding," Jackson said, and got closer to Derek. "Would you mind telling me about this video?"

"What video?" Derek and Stiles asked at the same time.

“The video when you tried to kidnap the mayor's son,” Jackson replied, noting nothing on the duo's faces. He added with a grin, “Come and see it for yourself.”

Stiles and Derek watched it together while Jackson couldn't stop grinning at them.

"How did you know we were at the sweet candy shop?" Stiles asked as he handed his friend the phone back.

"You know that our town is small, right? Rumors spread much more quickly than the big city. That's how I follow you two here."

"I'm bringing my boyfriend to your wedding," Stiles provided and looked back at Derek, who only smiled at him.

"Your boyfriend is Ethan's best man, as you are mine. Obviously he is going to be in the wedding," Jackson scowls at them, noticing Stiles' surprised look as he gazes over at Derek.

"What? You didn't know? You didn't see me in the rehearsal?" Derek asked, seeing Stiles shaking his head.

"I thought you knew, cause I saw you each time, and you looked handsome," Derek said to him with a smile.

"Handsome? With a shirt and shorts?" Stiles asked.

"Stiles, you are handsome in any clothes you are going to wear," Derek tried cheering him up. He could see that Stiles didn't believe him.

"He is right, Stilinski, and no, I'm not into you," Jackson added.

"Thank God for that," Stiles smiled at Jackson and thanked Derek for his words, and then he added, "Thank you for letting us stay in Vegas after your wedding, Jacks."

"No problem, I thought you could use some time away from our small town," Jackson winked at him, and then he added, "I'm going heading back, see how Ethan is doing, good luck Derek, your hands are going to be full with this one."

"Hey, that wasn't nice, jackass," Stiles retorted at him.

Jackson chuckled and left the store.

"Did you finish picking your candy or are you going to add more?" Derek asked, sighed in relief when Jackson left, focusing on Stiles.

"Do you think it's enough, or should I add more?" Stiles asked him, and noticed Derek frowned as he left in a hurry to pick up more, just in case.

"I guess we set it for now. Hopefully, it will be enough for the weekend in Vegas," Stiles said and looked at Derek, who only shrugged as he placed their pile on the cashier.

Stiles noticed the amount only moved up, and didn't want Derek to pay for that. "I can add my share. You don't need to pay all by yourself, you know."

"I know, and besides, it was my treat, and I'm paying," Derek told him, turning around at him and stealing a kiss, before trying to concentrate on what the cashier pointed over to the screen and telling the amount.

Derek nodded at the cashier, pulled out his wallet from his pants' pocket and removed the credit card and brought it to the cashier.

The cashier handed Derek his card back while Stiles gathered the candies into two enormous bags, mixing the candies, not wishing that Derek would drop the pretending. He is doing so well with it.

Derek returned the card in his wallet and put it back in his pants' pocket, and then he took the bags from Stiles.

"You know you are coming with your dad to my mom's private jet, right? So, it's going in as cargo along with your and your dad's suitcase," Derek reminded him.

"Yeah, but we are flying in the weekend, not today,"

"Stiles, we are flying today. At night, the week flew by quickly. I'm just glad you want me to be your boyfriend. Can you imagine all the fun we can do in Vegas?" Derek asked, grinned at him.

"Yeah, if my dad won't kill me first," Stiles replied, hoping he survived the weekend with his crush, not wishing to end it.

"I'll save you, you are, after all, my boyfriend," Derek said, hugging with one hand Stiles as they walked in the street.

"Just for the weekend," Stiles whispered, wishing it would be forever.

"Did you say anything?" Derek asked. He could swear he saw Stiles's lips moving.

"Nope, so what time should we be in your place tonight?" Stiles asked.

"I think I can persuade mom and Laura with the limousine, since Laura is staying and replacing mom while we are in Vegas, in that way, we could pick you up with the limousine, it will be much easy for you, and I might treat you with Reese," Derek replied and teased Stiles.

"You are mean," Stiles sighed.

"Just doing my part as your boyfriend material, Stiles," Derek snickered at him. "You better get ready for tonight, okay?"

Stiles nodded, feeling Derek entwined his hand in his. "Come on, I can give you a lift to your home. It will be much quicker."

Stiles closed the door to Derek's car, watching as the car drove away, as he wondered how he was going to last this weekend, knowing fairly well that Derek was only pretending to be his boyfriend because he asked him to do it.

Hour later, the sheriff returned home. He spotted his son. "Are you doing okay, son?"

"Yes, dad, I even got my suitcase ready, I guess we are waiting for the limo," Stiles said, seated on the bed, holding his pillow, "You can get ready, I can text Derek to see what the ETA for the limo to come so you don't need to do it in a hurry."

"Stiles, what's wrong, son?" John asked, not knowing why his son looked so sad.

"Nothing, dad, I'm sure everything will be back to normal after the Vegas," Stiles replied sadly.

"Cheer up, son, everything is going to be alright. I'm not letting anyone hurt you. If they'll do, I'll put them in jail where they belong," John assured his son as he hugged him.

"Thanks, dad,"

Around two hours later, there was a knock on the door as the sheriff opened it and saw it was Derek.

"Hi, Derek, Stiles is still in his room. Why don't you help him?" John asked, and looked at Derek as the young man hurried over to Stiles' room.

John was amazed, seeing Derek smiling at him. Maybe he should thank Stiles for that. Talia was right.

Derek knocked on Stiles' door. "Stiles, are you ready?"

"Yeah, I guess I am. Did you bring my treat?" Stiles asked, his face lit up as he saw Derek move to sit next to him.

"It's in my bag. You are going to sit next to me in the jet. Best way to treat my boyfriend," Derek snickered at him.

"In front of our parents? Do you think it's wise?" Stiles asked, in surprise and awe.

"Of course, we need to make it perfect in front of our parents and friends, boyfriend," Derek reminded him, and gave him a soft peck on his cheek.

"Okay then, let's do it, Der," Stiles said.

"I love the nickname, Stiles, thank you," Derek took his suitcase as they were walking over to the door, as John locked the door as they were headed to the limousine.

While they were in the limo as the car drove to the private jet, John asked Talia, while Stiles and Derek sat next to each other, Cora and Laura sat next to their mother, "Are we going to talk about the famous video?"

"I would rather not. Jackson already investigated me. Please don't," Stiles asked, feeling awkward. He knew it would bite him in the ass.

"Mom, Sheriff, he did nothing wrong," Derek pleaded to them, holding Stiles' hand in his and trying to comfort him.

After several minutes, the driver parked in the parking area and opened the doors. "Your jet is waiting for you."

"I'll be joining you shortly," Laura said to the driver, "Mom, Cora, Derek, Stiles and John, have a great time in Vegas and back refreshing, and don't do something I won't do,"

Talia smiled as a proud mom, seeing how Laura grew so much, and seeing the car driving away as Derek and John handled their luggage.

"Stiles, thank you for whatever you did, making my son smile. I thought I lost seeing him like this," Talia said with gratitude in her voice as she smiled at him.

"Mom, Stiles knows how to bring the best out of me," Derek said with pride, hugging Stiles, who in return said nothing.

"Good thing, we have a short flight, so we can just check in to our rooms and rest properly," Talia said, breaking the silence, "Peter and his husband will meet us in Vegas,"

"Your uncle is going to be there too?" Stiles asked Derek.

"Yeah, and he is going to bring his husband. I think they are going to use it as a honeymoon Vegas baby," Derek replied with a smile.

"Mom, did Jackson pay for all of us for the weekend?" Cora asked. She still couldn't believe it when her mom shared the news.

"Yes, and we are going to make the best of it," Talia assured her, and looked at her son, who kept smiling, and touching Stiles's face and hands.

After one hour and thirty minutes in the air, the jet landed in Vegas. A car picked them up over their hotel - Caesar Palace, where the wedding was going to take place.

On the next day, before sunset, the wedding of Jackson to Ethan started.

Stiles was Jackson's best man, as Derek was Ethan's best man, which ended with Stiles and Derek standing up next to each other to give a wine toast for their friends.

After the mouthful and sarcastic toast from Stiles, Derek added with a grin, "I’d also like to congratulate Stiles on a truly magnificent speech. I always knew it would be hard to follow, and I was right, I could hardly follow a word of it."

"Oh, you're too sweet," Stiles told him and tipped on his toes to reach Derek's lips.

"Let's start the party," the DJ called, as the grooms headed to the dance stage.

Derek and Stiles sat, and kept drinking like there's no tomorrow.

At one point, they left together, and Talia, who watched with the sheriff, signed to her brother to follow them, just in case.

“I guess we are on babysit duty,” Peter said to Chris with a chuckle.

Peter and Chris followed the duo, hoping they won't do anything they are going to regret on the following day.

"Come on, let's hurry, I don't wish the sheriff will skin me if I lose his son," Chris urged his husband as they tried to catch the duo.

In one moment, Peter just stopped, pulled out his phone, and took selfies of himself and his partner while the duo were in the background.

"Great pic, Peter," Chris said with a smile, and then noticed that the pair disappeared, "We lost them, we need to hurry."

Chris and Peter looked around, noticed the Tattoo shop opened, looked at each other before entering the shop and spotted Derek and Stiles with a drunk smile. They led them outside the Tattoo shop, relieved that the major case was aborted, as they kept following the duo.

"I don't know where they've got the energy," Chris said to his husband, as Peter added as he kissed his husband, "I hope they won't do anything stupid, they are drunk, I think they drank almost everything in the wedding,"

"Oh, man, we lost them again," Chris mumbled as he noticed after the kiss, Stiles and Derek weren't around.

"Oh, for the love of God, we are in the chapel street. Let's hope they..." Peter said with a panic in his voice.

"Come on, we better catch them, before it is going to be too late to undo the situation," Chris urged his husband, searching in every chapel.

When they entered the last chapel in the street, they noticed it was the Elvis Chapel, and when they were inside, the lady signed their names as the witnesses as the wedding was about to start, and they followed her in, and noticed it was the wedding of Derek and Stiles.

Peter pulled his phone, hit on the video recording, but before he clicked on the play, "No one is going to believe us,"

"Yeah, you are right, they are stupidity in love and drunk," Chris chuckled while watching the show.

Derek gave Stiles the small candy cane which he put on his finger, and then Stiles did the same with Reese, putting it on Derek's finger.

"You may kiss your candy, I mean your groom," Elvis said, grinning at the sight in front of him. That had never happened to him before.

Peter stopped the video, he got the evidence, maybe he could send it to the couple tomorrow, see if they remembered it.

Derek and Stiles kissed each other with passion and then hurried outside to throw up, still smiling at each other afterwards, "I need a drink,"

Derek led Stiles over to the nearest pub to buy them a drink.

"We better put them back to the hotel, maybe just put them in the newlyweds suite," Chris suggested, and followed his husband as they were trying to catch the couple.

Stiles woke up, groggy with a headache. He could feel the fluffy cold blanket as he touched it. Not knowing where he was, Stiles blinked and noticed the sleepy Derek next to him in the bed.

"Der, wake up," Stiles called, and then he moved his blanket up to reveal his naked body. And noticed Derek's body was also naked, "Der, please tell me we did nothing stupid,"

Derek woke up, noticed Stiles, laying next to him, and noticed his body under the blanket. He was naked. "I don't call making up drunk sex with you stupid, Stiles,"

"My head," Stiles called, holding his head with his hands, wishing the headache would stop.

Derek noticed pills next to his side with a cup of water next to it as he took the pills and swallowed them down with the water, "Check your bedside, I have pills in my side, check to see if you've got pills too,"

Stiles did the same as he spotted the pills, laid his head back on the pillow.

"What did we do last night?" Stiles asked weakly.

"I don't know," Derek replied, hoping he will find a clue in his phone.

"Stiles, how's your battery in your phone?" Derek asked, opening his WhatsApp. He sighed heavily.

"I need to recharge it. I don't have a charger here," Stiles replied, once his headaches were less aching.

"Stiles, husband of mine, I suppose we got married. Uncle Peter had evidence," Derek provided the answer that kept peaking in Stiles's mind.

"We've got married?" Stiles asked, hoping Derek won't ask for a divorce.

Stiles was on the bed, Derek was on the top of him, kissing, biting, he moaned and called for Derek to take him.

Derek kissed him everywhere, licking his candy cane.

Then Derek fucked him hard and Stiles' hands were around Derek’s, he moaned, wailing Derek’s name as each thrust hit his sensitive spot.

Stiles could see Derek licking the head of his cock, rubbing it until he came with a loud shout, his body shaking and then he mumbled the words ‘love you, Derek, I love you so much’.

'I love you Stiles, have a crush on you since high school,' Derek said, and kept kissing Stiles, fell asleep next to him.

Stiles remembered, and he was sure that Derek too, by the look at his face.

"Do you really love me?" Stiles asked.

"Yes, you are my crush," Derek admitted, and moved closer to Stiles, showing the video that added to a family group - Stilinski-Hale.

"Oh, my God, my dad is going to kill me, you are my crush too," Stiles watched the video, and then he glanced at his finger, all that left from the Reese chocolate smeared over everything in the bed, and it was sticky when he touched Derek,

"Your dad will not kill you, husband, and no, I never want to divorce you. You are mine!"

Stiles grinned at him, and then he noticed something on the table next to them. It was two golden rings and there was a note attached to it.

"What's that?" Stiles pointed over to the table.

"One of us will need to get it," Derek winked at him. "One of us needs to respond to the family group on WhatsApp."

Stiles smiled, leaving the bed, naked. He collected the golden rings and the note and returned to the bed.

Derek admired Stiles's nudity, saw the marks he left on his body, making points to himself to add more, the man is beautiful and his husband, nevertheless, he couldn't wait to devour him again.

"That's from you uncle," Stiles said, as he placed the note on the blanket.

"Good morning/afternoon, love birds.

We thought it would be appropriate for you to have proper rings instead of the candy ones you used in the Elvis Chapel, so consider it as a wedding gift from us.

Peter & Chris Hale-Argent."

"That was a sweet thing from your uncle, Der," Stiles said as he placed the golden ring on Derek’s finger and his husband did the same.

"Stiles, they added Jackson and Ethan to the family group," Derek notified his husband.

"What does he want?"

"I wrote a minute ago that we are happily married and I have the love of my life next to me," Derek said, and then he added, "Jackson added we are going to head down eventually, since we are back in the same plane."

"Jackson is going to kill me."

"Stiles, let's watch the video again," Derek suggested with a smile marked on his face and then he added, "I can't believe we married, and used our favorite candies for it."

"Let's use our time since we are not going down, and I will like to have a sober round with you, husband of mine," Stiles suggested, giving his husband a wink and a wicked smile.

“You may kiss your candy…”
