Nothing was happening in the 1-A dorms and Ashido was bored out of her mind. Usually she would pick up on some kind of gossip, but not today, most of her classmates weren't even talking, just sleeping or doing work. The only one who wasn't in the common room was Midoriya and he usually had something interesting going, so, Ashido decided, she was going to seek him out. It shouldn't be hard to do considering that she had seen him go up to his dorm a few hours ago, but still, pretending that she had an adventure to go on would be more interesting then sitting here, wasting away.
When Ashido finally reached the door to Midoriya's room and was about to knock, she realized something. She could hear two voices coming from inside the room, Midoriya was talking to someone, but because of the thick door she couldn't quite make out who the other person was. It couldn't be someone from their class because they were all still in the common room. This was the gossip she was looking for! Was it just a friend of Midoriya's? Or maybe a girlfriend!
When Ashido went to knock on the door it was suddenly opened and she was hit in the face.
"Ashido!? I'm so sorry! Do you need anything? Is your nose okay? Is it bleeding? I'm so sorry, is there anything I can do?" Midoriya asked a million questions a second and Ashido only understood about half of them.
"Actually," she began, "there is one thing you can do for me."
"What is it? I'll do anything, I'm so sorry, or uh- not anything-"
"Tell me who your secret girlfriend is!" Ashido interrupted, normally she would let Midoriya finish his sentences, he was a already too shy to begin with, but she just was just too excited.
She realized that her theory was likely right when Midoriya blushed a dark red.
"My- my what? I don't- I- I don't have a girlfriend." He managed to say despite his nervous stuttering. "I don't know what your talking about."
"Yes you do! You were just talking to her, where did she go? Oh the window is open! Why did she sneak out the window?" Honestly at this point, Ashido was asking almost as many questions as Midoriya.
"Oh, I know what your talking about, I just don't have a girlfriend, I have a boyfriend," Midoriya admits, shyly.
Ashido gasps. "Really! I didn't know you were gay."
"I'm not, I'm- uh bi." Midoriya looks down at his feet, but Ashido doesn't seem to notice.
"Oh my god! You have to tell me who he is! Please."
"Um, okay, just let me call him," Midoriya steps back into his dorm to pick up the phone.
" Hey, babe, I know you were just here, but one of my classmates wants to know who I'm dating," Midoriya pauses, likely listening to what the other person is saying, "are you sure? I would understand if you didn't want anyone to know. Okay love you, see you in a bit, bye."
"Soooo, is he coming back?" Ashido asks, unable to hide her excitement.
"Yeah, he said he'll meet us in the common room so everyone can meet him." Midoriya sounds significantly less shy now.
"That's great! I'll text the group chat." After doing so, the two of them hurried back to the common room, the first to approach them was Kaminari.
"Midobro," he said, "I didn't know you had a boyfriend, I'm bi too you know," he smiled.
Before Midoriya could say anything, Jirou replied to Kaminari. "Yes Denki, we know, literally everyone knows, you are so obvious."
Kaminari didn't have time to reply because the door to the common room was being open by no other than... Monoma?
Tsu was the first to say anything, "now's not the time, get out and bother us later."
"Well actually-" Midoriya began.
"I'm his boyfriend," Monoma finished for him, and before anyone could say anything pulled Midoriya into a short kiss.
Ashido's jaw dropped, she had found her gossip alright.
