Chapter Text
Flukey, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy were going through the usual routine of fighting Eggman who once again sent out one of his robots to kill them. Sonic, Amy, and Knuckles were on close combat and Flukey and Tails were on ranged due to the blasters they were using with Tails firing in the air and Flukey on the ground. While not as fast or strong as his friends Flukey wasn't no slouch in handling himself, especially against Eggman.
"Keep up the pressure everyone! I don't think it can take much more!"
Heeding Flukey's words, the gang kept things up until the robot reached its limit but in a last ditch everyone to finally kill his creator's oldest enemy it decides to blow itself up.
Amy's eyes widened. "It's gonna blow!"
Everyone made a break for it to get out of the blast radius and Flukey not being fast compared to his fast would've been caught in the blast if not for Sonic swooping him and getting him out of there. The blast was so big that it took out a huge chunk of the area.
"Whew. That was close. You alright Fluke?"
"Yeah. Thanks Sonic. Looks like Eggman's failed to kill us once again."
"Seems like it."
"I don't know about you guys but I'm heading home. I've had enough excitement for one day."
"Me too. Plus I can get back to my inventions."
"Eh not in a rush to get back to my island so I'll stick around a bit longer."
"Well if there's nothing left team break off."
With that, Flukey, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy headed off in their own directions. Following Amy's lead, Flukey decided to head to his place but to his shock and dismay the place was trashed via a piece of the robot, mainly the head, landed on his house.
Before being isekai'd to Sonic's world Flukey would be freaking out but after everything he's endured his house being destroyed isn't all that effective on his psyche.
Flukey sighed. "Well....time to look up some 5-star hotels...."
Days Later....
Days have passed since Flukey's home was destroyed and holed up in a hotel he's been looking up new homes with a fairly reasonable price and better than his old home. When the others found out about what happened, most of them offered to let Flukey stay with them which he appreciated but insisted on the hotel, not wanting to encroach on them in any way.
So far his search has been uneventful.
"Ugh this is hopeless. Everything's either expensive or already taken and I can't stay in this hotel forever. Well technically I can but I'd rather have my own place. Come on there's gotta be something. I'll even take a mansion at this point!"
Flukey looked a bit more before his eyes widened at what he was looking at:
It was a mansion and a damn good one at that and it was fairly priced for sale.
"Holy shit....this is perfect!" Flukey said and quickly called up the realtor to get the mansion as soon as possible before someone else gets it.
Two Days Later....
Two days have passed since Flukey called the realtor and after being given the tour and paying full in rings Flukey got the house and upon moving his stuff and settling in he called up everyone and asked them to join if they weren't busy.
The ones that arrived were:
Amy
Knuckles
Cream
Vanilla
Blaze
And Silver
Everyone else was too busy but it didn't matter too much they'd just end up seeing Flukey's new house sooner or later.
Upon seeing Flukey's new place they all were impressed in many ways at the outside of the structure as they can only imagine how much Flukey paid for it.
The last one to arrive was Sonic who had just come from gorging himself on some chili dogs. "Hey guys what's up. Whoa. Is this Flukey's new place? Must've cost the guy a fortune."
"I am curious to know why Flukey bought a mansion in the first place? He doesn't have any roommates. Least none that I'm aware and Flukey's not the type to boast or show off."
"Yeah. I wonder why he bought such a big place."
Just then the door opened revealing Flukey with an accomplished smile on his face.
"Well if you must know I bought it for two reasons. The first is cause it was a fairly reasonable price. And second, I bought it for all of us actually. You know a big place for hangouts and other stuff like that."
Upon hearing Flukey's reason everyone understood and Flukey was kind enough to give them a tour of his new place.
There were a lot of bedrooms, bathrooms, a big living room and a kitchen, along with a whole theatre and a pool and lots of luxuries that came with Flukey's mansion. Once the tour was over, everyone got settled in picking their own room for whenever they stay at Flukey's place from time-to-time.
While everyone got settled in Flukey looked up at the sky with a smile, seeing things slowly look up for him and hopes things continue to run smoothly.
