Chapter Text

A short purple haired girl with white eyes that are very slightly purple if you look close enough was walking by herself down a hall with a disappointed look on her face. During a training session with her sister, she had failed to present herself as a capable heiress once again. She knew for sure she would be punished, her father certainly looked disappointed about it... "...send her away!" A sudden voice spoke which caught her attention. Wasn't that her father's voice? It sounded loud, and a bit upset... but why?

"She is incapable of improving herself Hiashi. We all agreed unanimously, that she is unfit to be the heiress of the Hyūga." She heard one of the Elder's voices speak as she took a peek inside the room seeing Hiashi was talking to the elders. They appear to be talking about her performance earlier today.

The girl put a hand over her chest, this wasn't real right? She wouldn't be thrown away like that... it wasn't possible, she couldn't enter the room but she was sure it wasn't happening... it couldn't be.

"She's my daughter, I can decide what to do with her!" Hiashi argued over what they were talking about.

"Unfortunately, that option is not in your hands this time around. Another assassin like the one from Kumo attempted to steal the Byakugan. We may have repelled the intruder but the lord of the assassin is calling for blood unless we surrender a Hyūga." another elder spoke, sounding serious. "And we all agreed together, that the one we surrender will be Hinata Hyūga as she is incapable of proving herself as an heiress. She is nothing but an embarrassment, and a liability now."

‘A liability… no that’s not… I’m trying so hard… I’m working in the academy and with Kurenai-sensei I…’ Hinata thought, starting to get nervous before turning and running to her room, breathing heavily.

"Sister?" Hanabi, a shorter girl with brown hair, who happened to be looking for Hiashi saw Hinata walking past her wondering what that was about. "What got her spooked?"

"At least let me find another way!" She heard her father arguing with the elders. Hanabi peeked in to see what's going on. "Let me surrender myself, not Hinata!"

"No Hiashi, we already went through this." one Elder disagreed with a stern gaze. While they were willing to throw Hinata under the bus, they aren't willing to do that to Hiashi. "You are much too important risking for the sake of the Hyūga. It is the reason why, we had your brother take your place back at the incident with the assassin from Kumo." Hiashi tried to argue more but the elder lift his hand. "That's enough Hiashi. We've made our decision, Hinata Hyūga, will be surrendered to the lord of the assassin for the clan's survival. Before she will head off, we will apply the Cage Bird Seal to prevent him from learning the secrets of the Byakugan if she dies. As of today, she is disinherited as a Hyūga, effective immediately."

Hiashi’s expression darkened.  “And what of Hanabi, she is too young to lead the clan.”

"Unlike her sister, Hanabi shows real promise, and real strength of the Hyūga, something her sister lacked. So we will focus on readying her as the Hyūga Heiress for now on."

“... Very well, I will apply the seal tonight then.” Hiashi relented though he sounded angry about it.

Hanabi looked shocked as she ran off. Was all of what she heard just now true? The Hyūga are kicking Hinata out, and will apply that seal that big bro Neiji has on her? She couldn't believe this, Hinata had done a lot but the Hyūga Elders wanted more, and Hinata was unable to provide. Is she gonna die like Uncle Hizashi for father? No, she can't let her sister die! She has to find her!

With that she ran to find her sister.  Soon she managed to reach Hinata's room.

“Hinata?” Hanabi asked at the door.

Taking a second to listen, Hanabi can see some crying from behind the door. Her sister must've overheard what is going on, and it's too much to take in. When she had some time for it to hit her, she started crying right away that all she's working for, had been for nothing, and she is getting tossed out like trash.

Hanabi frowned, she wanted to do something but what? This wasn't something she could talk to her father about... or her mother... What could she do?

"H-Hanabi?" She suddenly heard Hinata calling for her.

Hearing that, Hanabi quietly opened the door and walked in.  “I’m right here.”

Hinata looked over to her, her normal eyes a little red from crying in her pillow.  Seeing that Hanabi got in the bed and hugged her older sister.  Hinata hugged her sister close with tears. "Hanabi... I'm so sorry... everything I've done... it was all useless... I'm such a terrible sister for not doing better."

"You're not a bad sister, don't think that... we can figure out something." Hanabi frowned.

"I'm getting kicked out... I'm not gonna be someone who stays in this village any longer to see how you go... and how Naruto goes on his dream of the Hokage." Hinata sniffed more while hugging Hanabi.

"... What if you defeat me?" Hanabi suggested. "One final chance, and you win? If I threw the fight?"

Hinata shook her head. That would definitely reverse it but... "You... You would be the one kicked out instead. Or even Neiji-nii. Or someone would notice you holding back."

"Then... you're going to let them kick you out? But that's wrong." Hanabi frowned hearing that only to gasp hearing footsteps.

"I... I won't let anyone else suffer. I love you Hanabi." Hinata kisses her forehead before pulling back sniffing to accept her fate.

Hanabi trembled before moving to stand between Hinata and the door as Hiashi opened it.  

"Father..." Hinata softly greeted trying to keep her emotions in check as she slowly looked up to him. "I'm... before anything... I'm sorry for... for being such a failure."

Hiashi just looked at her without saying anything, though it didn't look to be because he was disappointed but rather he didn't have any words to use as he formed hand seals and approached her expectantly.  Hinata hitched, having an idea what he was going to do so she raised her hand pulling her hair back to clear the area closing her eyes.

He placed his hand on her forehead as he focused his chakra and a slight tingling filled her body as the seal appeared, the Caged Bird Seal of the Hyūga Clan.  

When he's finished, Hinata opened her eyes, defeated as she pulled her Konoha headband from her neck, staring before leaving it at her bedside. "...How soon should I go?"

"Tomorrow morning, you're welcome to stay until after you eat. You'll be escorted to your new. home." Hiashi answered before turning and leaving the room.

"Of course... thank you father." Hinata said quietly as he left before she moved, laying down on her bed with her back turned to Hanabi. She slowly reached tracing her fingers onto the seal on her forehead before she started crying again, definite proof that she is no longer free.

Hanabi looked as she felt her heart breaking but there was nothing left she could do, it was over… Father had made his choice.

It was a silent sleepless night since then, and after the night had passed Hinata silently had breakfast with her family one last time. Now should be the time for the lord to be arriving... she hoped, it is someone decent. The Hokage had come to see them off as this is something important to go over. He was against the thought of what the elders think of, but there was nothing he could do, so he wished her luck for ahead.

Just then a carriage is being pulled, a special extravagant kind of carriage, it must've belonged to the lord who is going to take her away from Konoha.

Hinata trembled as the carriage stopped in front of them and she felt Hanabi's hand in hers.  

The door opened and to their surprise a woman stepped out. A beautiful woman who had long blue hair wearing a cloak walked out of the carriage before she turned to Hiashi bowing. "Good morning, Hiashi-san. I can see you are already ready with what needs to be done."

“Yes, my daughter is ready to go with you.” Hiashi nodded calmly.

"You are the lord though?" Hanabi asked the woman confused, having expected a man.

"Hanabi!"

"No, it's fine." the woman assured Hiashi, she's not offended by it. "But to answer your question, no I'm not the lord. He wanted to come himself but he had been too busy with work, and would rather not waste time on the road from here, and back. So he sent me to pick up the Hyūga that is being surrendered to him."

“What kind of person is he?” Hanabi asked as she frowned. “Why does he want my sister?”

"You don't know? He is Seiichi Horie." the woman spoke who this lord is. "As for why, as I understand, one of his loyal retainers was murdered, so he would like a trade for one man to another. Pay back what you took."

Hinata trembled.  “A life for a life?”

"Yes indeed." the woman answered, looking over towards her. And seeing the Cage Bird Seal proudly displayed on her forehead, she turned over to Hiashi. "So she is the one that you are letting go?"

"Yes, she is." he nodded.

The woman nodded before she turned, gesturing to the carriage to Hinata. "Then young lady, we should get going now. I hope you've said your goodbyes."

“Yes… I’ve said them already.” Hinata answered with some tears.

The woman stared as Hinata slowly walked, entering the carriage riding her life in Konoha away before the woman bowed again to the Hyūga Estate. "Well then, I shall take my leave. Thank you for understanding, have a good day." That said she walked in the carriage telling the driver to head back home right away.

Hinata looked at her family and home getting farther away as she teared up.  

"All of Konoha is now a distant memory." the woman spoke looking over to her. "Now you will be within Lord Horie's home under his generosity."

“What… What kind of person is he?” Hinata shuddered a bit.

"All you need to know... is that he isn't someone who does things without cause." Cryptic, but it's all the woman was allowed to say about him.

Hinata shivered at the lack of an answer as she looked out the window.  So this is her new life now... some kind of person for this lord, whoever he is... a lot of sway or something as he does things with cause. She hopes this lord is someone nice, or someone kind... or someone decent but a feeling is telling her it's not that easy. It took about half an hour until the carriage arrived as Hinata could see a fancy location that looked like a personal estate guarded by mercenaries, and traps were around. This must be that lord's place.

"It's... big." Hinata admitted looking at it.

The carriage stopped as the woman turned to Hinata. "Before we have you meet him, we have to make you look presentable. That outfit of yours isn't going to impress him.” Hinata is still wearing the same clothes she always wore which she uses to hide her... gifted assets.

“Huh?  I… I can’t…” Hinata blushed.

"Try to understand, this isn't your choice anymore." the woman spoke to her sternly. "If he isn't welcoming, you would be alone with no family, or home, so repay for his generosity." The threat was obvious... if Hinata didn't stay here, she would have nowhere else to go. No family to welcome her back, no home to stay in, and no-one to comfort her like she needs now.

“I… I’ll wear this, it’s fine and I can do chores right?” Hinata asked her.

"That's not your decision to make." the woman repeated as a couple of guards walked over. "Take her to the dressing chambers, and have her changed as ordered." They nod, move, and roughly take Hinata by her arms to drag her to where she is supposed to go.

"Wait... please." Hinata teared up.

They just ignored her while taking her to the dressing chambers. After arriving, they forced her inside as one guard pointed at her. "Play your cards right, and you will live to talk about it." He closed the door behind him as a guard stood outside leaving Hinata under the mercy of who is in charge of the dressing chambers.

Hinata trembled as she looked if anyone else was there.  It was a woman who was in her early 40s checking some clothing before she noticed her, and walked over. "So you are the Hyūga? Take a seat." She gestured to a stool nearby.

Hinata was trembling as she sat down.  “Please… I can stay in my clothes while I’m here.  I promise.”

"Hasn't Karin already told you? Nothing you do is of your decision anymore. The only thing to do now, is to listen to what your told. You do that, you have nothing to worry about." the woman spoke to her as she took some rulers to get to Hinata in front of mirrors.

Hinata was shaking but got up fearfully.  

"Remove your clothes. Let me see what I'm working with for the best measurements." the woman ordered her to do as she brought a small stand with some papers, and ink ready for her to record the measurements. "Not everything, just the clothes that will get in the way." Everything but Hinata's underwear is what she is referring to.

Hinata trembled as she blushed and slowly started to undress as something was revealed, she was big… her chest put adults to shame.  The woman checked over to see the progress while still getting ready. Then she blinked, turning back over to see if she was seeing things.

The woman sighed from this before she snapped her fingers. In response, the guard who was waiting outside walked inside as the woman gestured him over. "She wouldn't move her arms." The guard nodded, walking, and grabbed Hinata's wrists from behind, pulling them away from her.

"As I told you before, as long as you do what you're told, you have nothing to worry about. I wouldn't have to be forceful, if you listen." the woman told her as she began to take Hinata's measurements while the guard kept her arms pulled away.

She nodded approvingly from how it looked, and how big it was before she walked over, tossing the dress on Hinata. "Put that on."

Hinata blinked not realizing it was transparent at first as she slowly started to put it on only to suddenly widen her eyes. "Um... my clothes fit better."

She glanced at her very baggy jacket that obviously would hide her figure.

"This... it's a bit tight..."

"It's what you will wear here for the lord to see." the woman takes her shoulders, turning her over to the mirrors for her to see herself.

"Stop hiding them. Unless you want to get punished by the time you meet the lord." the woman threatened her with hands on her hips.

"I... I can't see someone in this." Hinata trembled, starting to take it off and reach for her normal clothes.

"We have someone who can activate that seal you have." That made Hinata freeze.

“The… the…” Hinata trembled as fear of the seal made her stop and lower her arms timidly, that threat got rid of any even shy resistance.

"That's better." The woman looked at the mirrors with her. She was lying they had someone who can use the seal, but due to it from some reports, it's what keeps some members of the Hyūga in line. "Now the last thing is make-up, and you can then meet the lord."

“I… I understand.” Hinata nodded timidly as she closed her eyes and didn’t put up any struggle.

So the woman takes her where she applied some make-up on her, and they walk together to where the lord is. It was a short distance walking to some royal doors as she moved to knock only for someone to be thrown out collapsing on the ground. "Dammit..."

"I believe, I told you, and the other stupid contractors that if it wasn't for me that they wouldn't have a home!" who stepped out was a man in a blue kimono with a glare having a mustache looking about in his 40s at best. "And for the last time, you will not get a raise for being so incompetent! So take your threats, your stupidity, those worthless wankers, and piss off!"

The man he threw out growled rubbing his head before he yelled out. "Fine! Don't complain to me if something goes wrong in the long run!" He ran off to get on with his day.

"Was that the fifth time, my lord?" the woman turned to him with a raised eyebrow.

"These pieces of trash don't understand their place." the man, who is the lord, spoke to her shaking his head. Then noticing Hinata, he blinked before he looked lustful. "Oooh lala... you wouldn't happen to be Hinata Hyūga? Karin told me you are arriving as repayment for the death of one of my retainers." Already he's creeping her out...

Hinata trembled at that but she nodded. “Ye… yes my lord.”

"Good. And you are looking pretty nicely yourself." Seiichi spoke, grinning. Seeing the woman is still here he glared standing up straight. "What are you still here for? Dismissed go!" The woman frowned as she walked off just as Seiichi turned his attention back gesturing over to his room. "Allow me to welcome you... to your chamber here."

"My lord... this is your room." Hinata shuddered. "Surely I will stay with the servants?"

"Oh no no... why would I let a sweet thing like yourself stay with the lessers? No you deserve better thanks to what you have." Seiichi placed a hand on her ass which made her jump. "And trust me... "Okay, Konohamaru, you, and Udon check outside to make sure nobody is coming." the boy spoke to a younger boy with a large scarf around his neck. He then turned to an orange haired girl. "Moegi, keep a watch on the window, make sure the passageway we came through is still clear."

“Got it.” the three of them whispered, moving to do what the blonde boy said.

The boy checked before he slowly turned over towards Hinata who was staring at him shocked with hands on her mouth. He chuckled softly, rubbing the back of his head. "Well... I guess I was a bit late to get you out, huh Hinata?"

"Na... Naruto-kun?" she whispered seeing him. "How... How did you find me? What happened?"

"It's a bit of a long story." the boy, Naruto, admitted as he walked over to her, and blinked seeing the old bruises, and bite marks on her. And he also noticed the Cage Bird Seal which he quickly recognized, and slowly reached placing his fingers on it after remembering his fight with Neji that talked about it, and what the Branch Family went through. "Hinata... why do you have that?"

“It was a set-up… the Lord of this mansion faked an assassination and he knew the clan elders had doubts about me… they forced father to put the seal on me before sending me here.” Hinata answered sadly before her eyes widened.  “Wait, what happened to Kiba and Shino?”

"They've been wondering why you've been gone... don't worry, we will explain everything as soon as we get out." Naruto assured before he turned to Moegi who was watching over the window. "Mogei, is the way still clear?"

"I think so, I don't hear or see anyone Naruto." the orange-haired girl mentioned.

"Okay. Perfect time to get out of here." Naruto moved by taking Hinata's hand to have her get out of bed but she pulled her hand away which confused him. "Hinata?"

"They should be here, search everywhere!" one guard ordered as they ran past their location. As they are getting out of earshot, Naruto places the scroll on the ground so Hinata can transform back safely for now into this hiding spot.

She returned to normal but was trembling badly.  “Naruto… the Seal… he can use the seal…”

"You mean that thing?" the boy that has a runny nose asked to see it. "I thought so too, but he knows the seal and..." Hinata started only to pause, he'd formed the seal as a threat but hadn't actually ever used it to discipline her or make her obedient. Her fear made her obey but... he hadn't once used the seal like she'd seen her father do to uncle Hizashi.

"Did he use it as a threat?" Naruto asked her with a frown which she slowly nodded. "Oh Hinata... if that guy isn't a Hyūga then he can't use it on you. It's okay, you were never threatened at all." He softly pulled her into a hug.

So then... It was all a lie involving the seal. Seiichi had been using her fear of the seal to his advantage to make her listen, and obey him. As he's not a Hyūga, he cannot use the seal the way Hiashi does it. So all those threats of him using the seal were all... unfounded.

"It's okay, you're safe now..." Naruto assured her by rubbing her back. Looking outside from a hole in the stump, he slowly nodded. "Okay... looks like it's clear..." He looked over to the scarf boy. "Konohamaru?"

"Yeah?" he asked, looking at Naruto.

"From the map, the Land in Waves is near this location... it should be a place for her to hide, so they won't find her. While I manage Hinata, can you, and your teammates lead the way?" Naruto knew the village is a good place as he had been there before, and knew that from how isolated it was in the past, it would be the perfect spot for Hinata to hide for now. It's the best plan they have so she would avoid being back in that guy's clutches.

“Yeah, no problem.” Konohamaru nodded with a grin as he took a look before nodding as the five of them started to move again.

"Are you able to move for a while Hinata? If you get tired, or need to stop, let me know." Naruto spoke as he helped her get off the ground so she could walk.

"Konohamaru, wait for a second!"

It was Naruto's voice as he helped the pregnant Hinata sit down on a stump. They’ve been making their way to the Land of Waves since they rescued her, and now the sun is starting to rise up. As much as Naruto wants to get Hinata to safety, he doesn't want her to hurt herself doing it, so makes sure she gets some breaks to rest, and build her energy again. They are almost there, just a few more trips to the boat, and they can arrive at the Land of Waves for Hinata to be safe.

“Right, good idea Naruto.” Konohamaru nodded, hearing that as they all sat to rest.

"Lady Hinata, don't worry, we are almost there, and soon you will be safe." Moegi assured Hinata with a smile that she's almost at a safe location for her to stay at so Seiichi, and his men won't find her.

“This… thank you so much I… wait, you three aren’t ninja.” she gasped noticing the goggles and not the headbands they were wearing.

"Well, I don't think you met them yet." Naruto admitted once he realized that. He gestured to Konohamaru. "This is Konohamaru. He's Old Man Hokage's grandson, and he's the one who made this mission possible."

"Sup?" Konohamaru grinned over to Hinata.

"And those two are his friends or teammates. The girl is Moegi Kazamatsuri, and the boy is Udon Ise. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have been able to break you out." Naruto added while both kids bowed their heads to Hinata.

"You... you did that for me? Thank you so much." Hinata whispered, bowing politely to them.

"Oh it was nothing. I knew I had to get big bro Naruto involved in this." Konohamaru spoke, shaking his head.

"Right... see he saw you, and some guy in the forest sometime ago, and you didn't have any clothes on." Naruto admitted to Hinata where Konohamaru was the person that Hinata, and Seiichi didn't noticed was watching them that time in the forest where Hinata discovered her pregnancy.

Hinata frowned when she heard that but let out a small sigh. "Well... it ended up being for the best I guess... so it's ok."

"He did try talking to Old Man Hokage over it but he kept turning it down even if Konohamaru placed it up as a mission. Even if he knew how serious this is, he had said the guy he saw had a lot of influence over the ninja world, and he's unwilling to risk the village to rescue you." Naruto admitted why things didn't change after Konohamaru told him. After he heard it, he couldn't believe Hiruzen was unwilling to give that lord a piece of his mind, but he understood in the end that it was someone that the Hidden Leaf can't mess with. "So... after a lot of planning, or other things... me, and them decided to do the mission ourselves, if no-one else is gonna do it."

Hinata froze.  “But… wait Naruto if you did this illegally… you could be considered a rogue ninja!  Or worse, and you’ll never achieve your dream!”

"Hey, don't worry about me, I would not look at myself if I didn't do anything about it." Naruto spoke to her that he didn't care if he couldn't be Hokage, if he couldn't rescue her then how he would look at himself? "I've vowed to never go back on my word, and I swear to rescue you! That's my ninja way!"

Hinata looked at Naruto before tearing up as she hugged him close.  “Thank you… thank you.”

Naruto softly hugged her back smiling just as Moegi looked seeing the sun peeking out as he stood up. "Naruto, we should get going. If that guy is back by now, he would send men to look around here."

"Right. Are you ready for one more trip?" Naruto asked as he helped Hinata up.

She took a slow breath but nodded. "Yes."

So they moved, walking with Konohamaru's team leading them over. As soon as they exit the forest Udon perked seeing a boat. "There's a canoe!" So they headed over with Naruto and gently Hinata got on it. As soon as he untied the end, he pushed the boat before jumping in as he, and Konohamaru proceeded to row off land that they saw in the distance.

As they pass an area, Naruto perks pointing to a bridge. "Hey look over there! That's what I was telling you all about! The Great Naruto Bridge!"

"It's incredible." Hinata smiled looking at it as she recalled what he told her about Zabuza Momochi and Haku... and how they saved everyone there.

"It's gigantic..." Udon admitted as he looked all around it. "And the Hidden Leaf is nearby..."

"Well, I hope the Builder is in a pleasant mood today..." Naruto hoped as they rowed, eventually reaching the docks, and they all exit out with Naruto helping Hinata get off. "Okay we are gonna have to get some walking done Hinata. Tell me if you need to stop, and rest for a bit." “I’m ok… I had a rest in the boat and we’re so close… I can keep going until we get there.” Hinata reassured him gently.

"Still don't be afraid to tell me if you need to stop." Naruto smiled as he helped her up the stairs reaching the town. As he knew where to go, he walked based on memory to the place they should get at while everyone else looked around. Naruto had told them the place used to be deep in debt, and misery due to a businessman named Gato who drained the pockets of the locals, and hired mercenaries against a bridge builder who is building the bridge the Hidden Leaf to change their luck. Thanks to Naruto, and his squad, Gato is stopped, and the town is doing fine financially now.

"Everyone's looking at you like you're their hero Naruto-kun." Hinata smiled gently upon seeing that.

"Well now I hope they can assist someone who is worse than the guy before..." Naruto admitted as the town ganged up against the mercenaries to drive them out of the town with the kid Inari leading them. He hopes they are in the mood to help him again...

Within a minute, they arrive in front of a house while Naruto clears his throat before he knocks on the door several times hoping someone can answer.

“One moment.” came a female voice.

Naruto gulps as he softly takes Hinata's arm wrapping it around his shoulders to help her stay straight up, and get inside.

The door opened revealing a woman that had long dark blue hair wearing a short-sleeved pink shirt with the end of the sleeves and the collar being red along with a blue skirt as she gasped. "Oh, Naruto? What are you doing here?"

"Sorry Tsunami-san, can we come inside, we have a bit of an urgent thing to do." Naruto apologized to her asking if they could come in.

She blinked before her eyes widened seeing Hinata and she nodded opening the door.  “Inari and dad are out shopping but they should be back soon… please come in.”

Naruto nodded as he helped Hinata inside while the kids followed him. Tsunami closed the door while Naruto helped Hinata sit down on a cushioned chair sitting beside her. His body was filled with relief that they got here safely without any problems. But he should still keep his guard up in case surprises happen before he looks over at Tsunami. "Thanks Tsunami-san... sorry for coming here so suddenly like this..."

“It’s alright, but… what’s going on?  Why aren’t you with your team and… who’s this?” Tsunami asked as she looked at Hinata, knowing exactly what was going on with her.

"Sorry there's a lot to explain... it would be better if I explain with Inari, and the old man when they get back." Naruto spoke before he turned to the kids. "Konohamaru... They even treated her death like a slight annoyance to them as they really don't care about Hinata after they had dismissed her potential. But Hiashi found himself getting angry from how callous they are treating this.

"You do understand the situation this places us in... if Lord Seiichi demands a replacement the only option would be my daughter Hanabi... and as the future head of the clan placing the seal on her is forbidden." Hiashi stated coldly but calmly. "If that were to happen he would obtain the Byakugan and we would have lost both potential future leaders of the clan for nothing."

"For Hinata's case, Hiashi she had no potential, and she is a liability. We had already paid him what we owed him after his assassin to steal our Byakugan was killed, so now we don't owe him anything else because she managed to escape. What he wants to do now is none of our business now that the deal is already done."

Hiashi met the eyes of the Elders as he frowned.  “I understand… then if you’ll excuse me my daughter and I will be taking time to mourn our loss… if there’s anything that requires my immediate attention send for me.”

With that he turned and left the room.

Hanabi was in her room taking some breaths. She can't believe she managed to lie to her father's face, and got away with it. But now that it's done, she knows this ruse can't last forever. Hanabi needs to figure something out so that Seiichi won't try another set-up like that again for herself, or anyone else he is planning to scam next. But how can they do that? "Lady Hanabi?" a voice spoke at the door which she saw seeing a long brown haired boy with the Konoha headband was at her doorway wearing a simple outfit, and is a Hyūga like herself.

"Yes, what is it?" she asked calmly. "Does father need me?"

"I've heard the news." he walked in closing the door. But Hanabi froze when he locked it behind him staring at her. "So tell me something... is Lady Hinata REALLY dead?"

Hanabi’s eyes widened slightly.  “Why would I lie about something like that?  Everyone heard the rumors… I had to check but… I saw it, my sister’s face… she looked almost peaceful… except for that across her forehead.”

"Would you look me in the eyes, and tell me?" the boy asked her before removing his headband, revealing the Caged Bird Seal, and activated his Byakugan. "Tell it to me while looking at my eyes with the Seal in your field of vision."

Hanabi paused before she met his eyes. "I saw it... Hinata... is dead."

The boy stared at her before he released his Byakugan, and placed his forehead back on. "Forgive me, Lady Hanabi... but there is something about this that is fishy. Do you know the cause of death?"

“The cause?  No, I don’t… but what could be fishy about it, I would know my sister better than anyone.  I saw her body… “ Hanabi frowned as she shuddered.  “It was… I still can’t understand that it’s real but it is… she’s not with us any longer.”

"Something doesn't seem right about this." the boy spoke to her, crossing his arms. "The assassination attempt doesn't seem like something... it was like the assassin had loitered around before making himself spotted." It looked like he had some suspicions about the timing in of itself, and now that Hinata was reported missing, and Hanabi said she's dead... he looked like he was thinking about what exactly is going on that everyone isn't seeing.

Hanabi frowned a bit at that.  “Neji… why would I lie about this?”

"I'm not sure why... and I am not saying you are..." the boy, Neji, spoke with crossed arms as he sat beside her. "But ever since that whole assassination attempt started something had been bothering me. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but something has been telling me it's not like what we think it is."

Hanabi frowned slightly. "What else could it be?"

"I don't know... and it seems scandalous to think it might be a set-up." Neji admitted to her as he looked troubled looking down. "But with how powerful Lord Seiichi is supposed to be, trying to find the details would be next to impossible."

Hanabi nodded after hearing that.  “It would be impossible… all we can do is try and live for Hinata.”

At the Horie Estate…

Everything is chaos back at the Horie Estate. Seiichi had been bossing people around the clock, ordering to find Hinata, and hiring mercenaries to find them, threatening to kill them if they didn't find them. "L... Lord Seiichi?" asked a timid female voice.

"Excuse me?" Seiichi looked more enraged when he heard that. "You'd better hope you're joking right now."

"I wasn't able to confirm for myself, but everyone I spoke to stated the same, they described her physical appearance perfectly and confirmed that she perished not long after arriving in the Land of Waves." the guard frowned.

Seiichi narrowed, and being the guard could react, Seiichi stabbed the side of his throat, and slit it across the front.  Everyone looked horrified seeing that but none of them moved.

While the guard collapsed Seiichi cleaned the knife with his robe before glaring at everyone. "I don't believe it one bit... There is no-way she dies by herself when she has a child on the way! One of you head to the Land of Waves, and find her there! You see her there, you bring her to me on the spot!"

"Wh... what if it is true though?" a guard asked hesitantly. "In her condition... if a rogue ninja intercepted her she wouldn't be able to defend herself."

"I did not pay you to question me... I paid you to DO WHAT I FUCKING SAY!" Seiichi roared in his face with spit flying in his face. "Now don't make yourself the next incompetent servant I gut today, and get back to do what you're told!"

At that everyone ran to follow his orders.

"Seriously, why do I hire these idiots if they can't do one simple job, and don't question it!?" Seiichi growled under his breath as he walked off to head back to his room to treat that maid roughly unaware that someone was keeping an eye on him through the shadows hissing with his tongue.

Back at the Land of Waves...

Tsunami carefully checks over Hinata after dinner, and examines her tummy that Hinata pulled up her shirt while the woman carefully places her hands over to see over the condition. Hinata trembled at that. "I... I see..."

Tsunami gently rubbed her back. "But... from what it's worth, even if it will be the worst pain you will be in, seeing the face of your baby makes all that pain worth it. And it's okay to be scared of the pain." Seeing tears in Hinata's eyes, Tsunami gently moves her where she lays down with her head softly in her lap allowing Tsunami to gently rub her head. "It's okay. You, and the baby will be okay even from all that pain that will come. But if you need to cry, you can do so. There's no shame in being scared of something like this."

Hinata nodded before pausing as she frowned.  “Is… Inari like his dad?”

"His father? You don't mean Kaiza then?" Tsunami had told Hinata that her recent husband had been a hero to the village before Gato came in but does tell her that he isn't Inari's father by blood.

"No... his biological father." Hinata confirmed what she meant.

Tsunami frowned as she had tried forgetting about that man for a long time which she sighed. "To answer your question... no Inari never is like that man. Someone who lies, and who cheats. I made sure that Inari will grow up to be a kind, and honest man. And I'm sure that with you, and Naruto in your baby's life, they'll be a fine person in life."

Hinata let out a sigh of relief hearing that before she paused and blushed a bit .  “Tsunami?  Can I ask you for your help with something?”

"Of course. What is it?"

“Well… that might be nice for a boy but what about a girl?”

"I was actually thinking that would be something for you... I mean, do you have any girls' names that sound nice off the top of your head?"

"I... I don't know... maybe... Himawari?" Hinata suggested uncertainly.

"Himawari?" Naruto isn't sure why but it sounded nice to him, and it sounded a little like Hinata's name so he grinned over. "Himawari... I like it! When we find out who you are, we will give you a name that fits you so well."
