Chapter Text
AN1: Removed the word "Panic" from the canon title, as there's no issue or conflict.
AN2: Jessie, James, and Meowth also have the capsule house. Ash didn't want them to catch colds, so he shared the technology with them.
AN3: Before anyone asks why Gwen beat Melissa in the Indigo League, it's because growing up and training with Ash gave her less of an ego than in canon. Picture her with researcher Gary's personality from the start of the Kanto region.
The next day, Pallet Town threw a party to celebrate the birthdays of Ash, Gwen, Leaf, Yellow, Emily, and Phoebe. It was also a chance to honour Gwen for placing second in the league and Ash for his victories as Indigo League and Kanto Champion. The event took place in Professor Oak's Pokémon Corral. Ash and his travel companions let out their Pokémon to enjoy the party.
Ash and the gang spotted Jessie, James, and Meowth running a food truck. They had told their boss they planned to infiltrate Ash's party, but in the end, decided not to take any action. If their boss asked why there was no report, they would say that Lance, the Kanto Elite Four, the Johto Elite Four, and Charles Goodshow were present, which they actually were.
Most of the Ketchum/Oak siblings with birthdays received small gifts. Ash didn't really care for presents, finding them unnecessary since he could make things himself, but he graciously accepted a mini lure of Misty that she had made for him.
Queen Reina, Princess Ilene, and cousin Riley sent their regards to Ash and the others. They were tied up with political matters and couldn't reach out at the time, as it might have seemed impolite, but they did watch the battles and celebrate Ash's victory. As for the multiple mothers of the Ketchum household, Miyamoto Lillis is now part of the family, having married alongside the other Ketchum mothers by Ash's clone, who remained in Pallet Town and officiated the ceremony. Miyamoto wasn't the only one to join; Ranger Jenny was added too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ash noticed that Miyamoto seemed both happy and sad. "What's wrong, Mother Miyamoto?" Ash asked one of his new mothers. "It's just that one of my friends isn't here to celebrate with me."
Ash knew exactly who Miyamoto, his newest addition to his many stepmothers, was talking about. She was talking about Hiromi Sakaki, Giovanni's mother, who was also known as Madame Boss. Hiromi was the leader of Team Rocket. She disliked owning Pokémon, viewing them solely as tools for profit. Despite this, she and Miyamoto were close friends, even though one was the boss and the other the employee. They talked about their kids, and Miyamoto would help calm Hiromi down whenever she got heated over the budget and how expensive things were. Hiromi pay Miyamoto at a higher rate to look after Jessie.
After the job that cost Miyamoto her life, Hiromi handed control of Team Rocket to her son and retired. She opened a bank account for Jessie so she could live the life her mother had wanted for her, only to discover that the orphanage Jessie was sent to had stolen all the money. and put all in the staff's accounts. Hiromi later drank to cope with the pain of failing her friend and her friend's daughter. One day, she didn't wake up. When Giovanni, who usually called on weekends, got no answer, he decided to check on her, only to find her dead.
It was one of the rare times Giovanni cried, showing he cared for his mother. After her death, Giovanni discovered her notes and learned the reason she drank herself to death. He remembered Miyamoto and how her passing had caused his strong-willed mother to break down in tears.
Giovanni discovered where the orphanage staff who had stolen money from Miyamoto's daughter were hiding and had Team Rocket deal with them. He then used one of his legal businesses to fund a new orphanage, ensuring the children from the destroyed one wouldn't end up on the streets. It is one of the acts that Ash had to admit respect for Giovanni.
Ash had the perfect gift for Miyamoto. With a snap of his fingers, a coffin appeared before her. It broke open, revealing a blast from the past.
"Hiromi!" Miyamoto exclaimed, tears welling up in her eyes at the sight of her friend's return.
"Miyamoto?!" Hiromi gasped, unable to believe what she was seeing. " How is this possible? Both you and I died and were sent to different places."
"You're both alive again," Ash said.
"Who are you?" Hiromi asked. Looking around, she noticed other people. "And where are we?"
"Pallet Town, Kanto, at Professor Oak's Corral," Ash replied. "I'm Ash Ketchum, the new Kanto Champion, Chosen One of Arceus, and a real pain in the butt for your son Giovanni."
Hiromi was surprised and asked, "Besides running Team Rocket, what did my boy do to you?" She knew that she, her son Giovanni, and many others in Team Rocket were evil.
"Skipped out on our Pokémon duel, so I exposed him as the leader of Team Rocket," Ash said.
"Ash even threatened and mocked him, yet he was a no-show," Serena added.
"Yep, and I was robbed of a legendary battle against a worthy opponent," Ash continued.
"Dang, that boy—what was he thinking? "Hiromi yelled." He made Team Rocket look weak.
"Calm down, Hiromi," Michele said.
AN4: Changing Miyamoto's name to Michele, since my writing programs keep interpreting Miyamoto as male for certain sentences.
"Thank you, Michele," Hiromi said, calming down with her friend's support. "So, why was I brought back to life?"
"There are three reasons why you're back, Hiromi," Ash said. "Reason one: to make Michele happy. Reason two: so you, her, and my multiple mothers can be in a relationship. And reason three: to show up your son—' I plan to bed you,' as the saying goes. You mess with me, I mess with you."
Hiromi laughed and said, "Oh, that's evil and well done." Then she asked, "So, how does this relationship work?"
Ash talks about having a harem and explains his reasons for it. He also mentions that his foster and stepsisters are part of it, along with his birth mother, Delia, and her wives.
"Okay, I'm in," Hiromi said. She and Michele had once found themselves in bed together after getting a little too drunk during a celebration. Neither of them minded since they had no male partners. "It'll be like old times, right, Michele?" she added with a wink.
Michele blushed slightly but felt mostly excited by Hiromi's words. Before long, a small ceremony took place, and Hiromi Sakaki officially became part of the Ketchum family.
-Small Time skip-
"I want to thank everyone for cheering me on at the Indigo League," Ash said. "And a big thank you to all my Pokémon, because I could never have won without your help!" The crowd erupted in cheers at Ash's speech.
Moved by his words, Ash's Golbat and Chansey evolved into Crobat and Blissey. Meanwhile, many of the younger kids were captivated by the sight of Ash's Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.
Ash and his friends were enjoying a meal when Brock asked, "So, Ash, what are you going to do now?" "Hmm," Ash replied, "I've been thinking about my next move, and I've decided to head over to the Orange Islands." He showed them a brochure, explaining, "It says there's a league there, so I'm going to check it out." "Sounds like a great plan to me," said Misty. Professor Oak added, "If you're going to the Orange Islands, Ash, I'd like you to do me a favour—visit Professor Ivy on Valencia Island and pick up a package from her for me."
"Sure thing, Grandpa," Ash said, accepting the request before turning to his friends, Amber and Tomo. "You guys want to come along?" he asked.
"Of course," Misty nodded. "I still want to travel more."
"So do I," Brock chimed in.
"Me three," Giselle added.
"I'm staying with you wherever you go, Ash," Serena said with determination.
"Us too," Tomo and Amber agreed with Serena. "We're never leaving big brother's side!"
"All right then," said Ash, "we'll head off tomorrow".
The next day, Ash and the gang were all ready to leave for the Orange Islands."You take care of yourselves." Delia and the other Mothers of the Ketchum household said, "And good luck in the Orange Islands."
"Thanks, Moms." Ash, Serena, Amber, and Tomo thanked their seven mothers before the gang bid farewell to them and Professor Oak/Grandpa and headed off on their next adventure.
"How do we get to the Orange Islands, big brother?" Tomo and Amber asked.
"We can get there by blimp," Ash replied. "There's one at the airport in Viridian City that will take us this afternoon."
"Great," said Brock. "We'll grab supplies for the journey before we go."
They made their way through Route 1 toward Viridian City.
"Doesn't going through Route 1 bring back memories, Misty?" Ash and Serena asked.
"It sure does," Misty smiled. "That's where we met."
In Viridian City, the gang stocked up on food and medicine from a convenience store before boarding the blimp bound for the Orange Islands. "Orange Islands, here we come!" Ash exclaimed. And with that, their journey to the Orange Islands was underway.
The end.
