Summary
One day, when Midoriya and Bakugou are training, Midoriya lets it slip that Sir Nighteye told him he wasn't good enough for One for All. When Katsuki gets angry, Midoriya also lets it slip that All Might told him quirkless people can't be heroes... right before leaving him alone on a rooftop. Suffice to say, Bakugou is more than a little pissed off.

Everything came rushing back to Katsuki’s mind in an instant. Waking up to an emergency call, being sent out to the rural foothills along with most of the heroes in Japan for a devastating landslide emergency that was ravaging the countryside mountains and taking hundreds of lives. It had been a full rescue effort. Few heroes in the country had quirks that would suit a landslide, though more than a few tried to contain or stop the tragedy from getting worse. In the end, it was mainly a body recovery and rescue mission.

To anyone else in the building, 8:35 was the time when Katsuki was going to bed, no matter how much the idiot squad teased him about having an early bedtime, and early enough that no one dared to come near his room for fear of disturbing him after he just drifted off.
For Katsuki, and the person waiting for him two floors below, it was go time.
Deku and Kacchan have a little nightly routine.

Shirakumo is surely laughing at him from beyond the grave. Seriously. He thought of all his kids, both currently graduated and not, Bakugou might be the first to call him about something like this. Not Midoriya. Never Midoriya.
The sigh that leaves him is an immensely dramatic one. A tired one that he feels in his bones.
“Tell me it’s not Bakugou’s body. Give one good piece of news,”
Midoriya sounds significantly brighter when he says, “Don’t worry sensei, it’s not Kacchan!”
