    Bernard would have thought that showing up to rescue his boyfriend from the chaos monsters with the rest of said boyfriend’s vigilante family in tow would have been enough to reveal the fact that Bernard knew about the whole vigilante thing.

    It was not.

    Despite everything that happened—and the fact that the rest of his family definitely knew by now—Tim was somehow still under the impression that Bernard knew nothing about his nightly activities as Robin. A fact that became clear when, a few days after the thing with the chaos monsters, Tim was still making lame excuses for things that Bernard knew were Robin-related.

The first time one of Tim’s battle wounds seems to heal all too quickly, Bruce startles him by asking about it.

    Bruce looks past him at the exact point on the floor of the Batcave where Tim had lost like a pint of blood the day before.

    “Wasn’t that bad,” he echoes dryly.

    So when Tim suits up for patrol for the first time since he left to travel the world, he keeps the costume as it is, minus the cowl.

    Red Robin is a woman. Tim drake is not, though. It takes a bit for her to figure it out.

Small business owners often painted little Oracle symbols on their doorsteps, to warn away possible thieves with the knowledge that Gotham’s cryptic hacker had their eye on them. Working girls would send a quick prayer to the Red Hood before seeing their seediest clients; and as such, knew who to call for if things took a turn for the worst.

    And Red Robin… well. His was a very specific bunch.

    With his captors failing to reach his parents for ransom, he's able to escape, only to discover he's no longer in Gotham, and he has no way home.

    “I could, but that’s the fine if you don’t come over next weekend.” Jason explains. “Because now B’s going to be all broody this weekend, and if I have to deal with that two weekends in a row, I get to eat your chips.”

    “Alright, fine I’ll come over next weekend if you're so…” Dick trails off as he notices something strange on the sidewalk in front of him. “Jay I’ve got to go, I’ll call you back.”

    “Dick, Wha-” Dick hangs up before Jason can finish, he feels bad, but this is more pressing. A small figure is trudging through the storm, occasionally stumbling like they’re injured. Far too tiny to be an adult.
