Summary
Mary watched in disbelief as a young man, who looked to be around the same age as the yongest wayne, was suddenly enveloped by a cloud of thick, green gas.
Panic began to set in around her, the boy's eyes widened with horror, his pupils dilating as he stumbled backward.
Mary's heart raced as the boy started been backing up, eyes wild with fear, looking for a way out.
Before anyone could react, he spotted a group of people that seemed to be his family. She could see the recognition flicker in his eyes, and for a brief moment, she thought he might find some comfort there.
But instead, he let out a feral growl, his eyes shifting from fear to rage. He lunged at the man she assumed was his brother, twin maybe?, his movements surprisingly swift and precise for someone who had just inhaled a cloud of toxic gas.
The crowd gasped in shock as the two young men, who could have been mirror images of each other, began to grapple.

Danny gets hit with that fear toxin during the wayne gala.

Edward Elric hoped he could retire from military service in peace, traveling Amestris while his brother Alphonse went to Xing. This is put on hold when now-Führer Mustang asks him to travel to the Outside, to the world beyond that was barricaded for centuries after the development of something called ‘Quirks’. A soldier has been killed and Amestris needs to know more about the Outside.

A little white-robed cultivator who had been hovering nearby glanced up. Wei Wuxian had never seen him in the Yiling market before, but he had been walking up and down their street all afternoon. He had studiously browsed every single stall around them but seemed to be intentionally avoiding him. This wasn’t odd in and of itself, but there was something about the man that made his nose itch.
However, he didn’t seem reluctant to be addressed at all, and even greeted him with a kind smile.
“What a keen eye you have!” The cultivator walked over to them, hiking the bag he carried higher up over his shoulder. “You’re right, of course, I was absolutely looking for, uh—”
“Radishes,” Wen Ning reminded him.
“Right, radishes!” he said brightly. “My husband loves radishes.”
A reimagining of The Untamed if Hua Cheng and Xie Lian had gotten involved, but were not able to change the outcome.

John Constantine told them not to do the thing. They did it anyway.Or, Danny gets summoned by the League, and he actually kind of adopts them in the process. Because these big city heroes don't know anything about ghosts and who is he if he doesn't help them out? Besides, the Watchtower is in space. Danny's always wanted to go to space...
(I'm not really following any specific JL timeline, so like. Be prepared for 98% of everything to be *made up* and possibly *not real*.)
