    Wow, that was fast! I liked the summary, and I thought the first chapter was very good!.

    So Rickard made the North insult the crown by refusing to pay taxes? A bit foolish of him, considering there are still dragons around. I wonder what his reaction will be to the marriage proposal to his daughter.

    I like that Rhaegar remains calm and calculating, but the dark tone you mentioned is already visible here. He's wanted Lyanna since he laid eyes on her, and this was the perfect opportunity.

    I also liked the interaction between Rhaegar and his dragon.

      Yes, I tried to make it as insinuatingly dark as possible without revealing it too much already. He's got to have demons in his mind with a father like that.
