I won't deny it, Lyanna has been a bit annoying so far. It's understandable that she's defensive about being forced to go south to get married, and that it puts her in a bad mood, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out she was just as annoying at home, haha.
I mean, she was given absolutely no warning before Aerys sent a raven practically demanding her to get married to his son, whom she's only barely interacted with once when she was 14. I didn't think of her as annoying while I was writing it, but I guess I understand where you're coming from. But she's surrounded by strangers, in heat she has never known aside from a single tourney in Harrenhall when she was younger. She does get better, she's just uncomfortable so far south from Winterfell.
Thank you for reading! I'll work on it in the coming chapters :).
Yeah, like I said, I totally understood her attitude, and now that I think about it, her attitude reminds me of fics like "Hell Is Empty" or other fics where they're forced to marry. Obviously, love won't come easily under those circumstances, and as a fan of the more "classic" romance between them, it's harder for me to accept it. I think I'm more the problem than Lyanna, haha.
But like you said before, with your other fic, the romance will come more naturally, and with this one, it'll be more something they'll have to face together.
Perfectly understandable, haha. I've tried to make this feel natural as well, especially considering she doesn't hate Rhaegar in particular; she just hates the situation she's in.
