god i LOVED this concept, we know lestat's love language is heavily implied to be words of affirmation and gifts and we also know he drinks up every bit of affection louis shows to him so i know the brat was shaking crying throwing up every time louis showed up w flowers and complimented him and took him out and this was so fun and cute but ALSO the underlying angst of lestat not knowing louis loves him/being insecure about it and louis not having a clue bc he is insane for lestat 24/7 inside his mind they're just a little dumb ahhh and jealous possessive louis is always delicious just soso good i hope we get more of him in s3.

Guh I've been thinking SO MUCH abt lestat being desperate for affection and affirmation but not being able to recognize that Louis is absolutely bonkers over him too... like I've been reading the books and he's so wildly insecure abt being unlovable ahhh it's very fun (for me, not him)!! And yes jealous louis always has me climbing the walls.... I trust that the writers will incorporate it in s3 and make it even more unhinged than we can possibly imagine 🙏 ty again for reading! 💓💓
