Summary
The Egg may have been defeated, but Sam was lazy, and never bothered to check in on it.
It began corrputing zombies, turning them into mutants, making them very hard to defeat.
The world is turned into an apocalyptic zone, where two factions fight over resources, and broken trust.
But the new Warden, Tommy Innes simply does not care, and just wants this whole apocalypse predicament to end so he can go back to his normal routine around the prison.
