Summary
It was a solid plan. Still, in the end they had all known there was a giant ‘if’ to it. But in a way, they had been counting on the best possible outcome. Maybe most of them had not been ready to think the alternative, keeping the possibility of it theoretical enough that they needn’t consider what it would actually mean if it went differently.
Obi-Wan had. Maybe he is the one most prepared of them all because he knew his luck. And now that foresight may be all that keeps the Order and the Vod’e from falling apart as they face the largest paradigm shift since the Ruusan Reformation.
Either way, it will test them to their limits. And that’s not even considering their problems with the Sith.
