Summary
No amount of denial and willful ignorance could help him now. There was no other explanation for this, not to mention the multitude of other signs and symptoms Dabi has been ignoring the past couple months.
The continued nausea and fatigue, the sudden sensitivity to smells that never bothered him before, the strong cravings, the consistent backache and always feeling like he had to pee. Not to mention the way his stomach has swollen and curved outward; gently rounded in a way that suggested - without context - nothing more than maybe some weight gain and bloating.
Dabi managed to put it all together and realize, in horror, what was happening several long hours ago, though.
He was pregnant, despite all his efforts.
Pregnant and in labor.

Summary
“Does she have a name yet?” Tomura grumbled with an exasperated sigh.
“No,” Dabi said. “What’s it matter to you? Got a suggestion or something?”
Tomura didn’t answer right away, chewing on his lip and looking away from Dabi and the newborn for several long seconds because yeah, he did. “Hanako,” he eventually mumbled, still not looking at Dabi or the infant and hoping Dabi wouldn’t ask him to explain.
“Hanako?” Dabi repeated, voice softening a little. “Hm. Guess it’s okay,” he contemplated. “Weird that you wanna name her but refuse to even fucking touch her, though. The fuck’s up with that, huh?”
When Tomura glanced up at Dabi, he was met with an almost suspicious look because of course Dabi wanted some reasoning for the weird conflicting behavior. Tomura dropped his gaze to look at the baby again as he struggled to find an answer for himself because he didn’t even have one.
Rather, he didn’t have an answer that he was willing to accept himself let alone share.

Summary
It just didn’t seem or feel right. The idea that Dabi had a baby and that that baby might be Hawks’ child.
That… was not in the plan. Which, okay, technically most of the things that he and Dabi did together were nowhere in the plan but, fuck, this was so far out of the realm of the plan that Hawks was having a hard time believing it.
And if Dabi was really telling the truth - which, Hawks guessed, would explain how tired and pained he looked - then that would mean the League had an infant with them.
An infant that might be his daughter.
That thought echoed through his mind until it finally sunk in and he glanced up at Dabi to see him just… smoking his cigarette like nothing was wrong.

Summary
“I -,” Hawks cut himself off that time as he counted back the months and realized the kid must’ve been conceived probably sometime in April, when Dabi had spent nearly the whole month with him helping him with the issues that always came about towards the beginning of Spring. “Wait - Wait, so, if - Nine months ago was… Fuck, Dabi, so Hanata is -”
“Her name is Hanako,” Dabi growled before the line went dead.
Hawks was left staring in shock at nothing, panic and guilt rising quickly within him. He let his phone drop onto the couch next to him while he tried to process everything, leaning forward to brace his elbows on his knees and bury his face in his hands. “Fuck,” he cursed, taking a few deep, shaky breaths.
It was fair that Dabi got pissed at him for forgetting the kid’s name but, honestly, Hawks had spent maybe five minutes around her and there were so many other things happening so could he really be blamed? Either way, he felt guilty and absolutely idiotic for it.
That wasn’t the biggest issue, though.
No, God no. The biggest problem was that Hanako was his child.
