Summary
“This is a surprise, pet,” Ainosuke murmurs. She tips up Tadashi’s chin with a finger to get a better look at the adorably stubborn look on her face. “Are you sure you want to waste your time on a fool like him?”
“Please watch from the viewing platform, Ainosuke-sama,” Tadashi says blandly. There’s a beat, and then, “I’ll make sure the beef is suitably entertaining for you.”
“Oh?” Ainosuke brightens, excitement stirring at the promise in her voice. “Then, by all means, entertain me."

Summary
After a day filled with demands and expectations, it's nice to have a quiet moment where they don't have to be anyone but themselves. Ainosuke’s breath stirs warmly against her neck with every exhale, and her skin smells clean, like soap and lavender. Tadashi almost thinks she's fallen asleep until she feels the gentle brush of fingers against the inside of her knee. When Tadashi glances towards her, Ainosuke's eyes are still closed, feigning sleep.
"I thought you were tired?" She asks carefully.
"I am," Ainosuke says, not sounding sleepy at all.
