Summary
“Bokuto-san, I need you to focus,” he says, and Bokuto nods even though it hurts his head. There’s nothing Akaashi could ask of him that he wouldn’t do. “How many fingers am I holding up?”
He knows he’s supposed to count them—four—but Akaashi is sitting so close, and his hand is right there, and Bokuto has been wanting for so long. He’s been more patient, more cautious with this than with anything else in his whole life.
or
Bokuto takes a serve to the back of his head during practice, leaving him a little disoriented. It may be the best thing that's ever happened to him.

Summary
At first, Deidara doesn’t think much of Tobi’s staggered, loopy walking. It’s surely just another act, another bit that he’s committed to that no one but him finds funny. Then, like a puppet with his strings cut—a sight Deidara is all too familiar with after his years partnered with Sasori—Tobi drops in the middle of the road.
When he finally wakes up, he's not Tobi anymore.
*or*
During the final battle, Obito accidentally travels back in time to when he was posing as "Tobi" and partnered with Deidara. Semi-reformed and with a new perspective on the world, he's not going to waste this chance to stop the oncoming devastation before it can happen. Even if it means ruining all his old plans.

Summary
He remembers the club they went to: some trendy, ritzy place Omi-Omi knew about. He remembers that it was busy, but not too busy, and that the place seemed clean and well-managed, and the music was good. He remembers ordering a drink at the bar, toasting the Jackals’ latest win with his teammates.
He remembers, vaguely, getting hit on by a hot guy with dark hair and a leather jacket and the edges of a tattoo peaking out of the low neckline of his shirt.
After that, it's all blank.
*or*
Atsumu gets drugged, Hinata plays nurse, Bokuto is (temporarily) in jail, and Sakusa is putting his family money to use (with lawyers...probably).

Summary
It’s hard to tell what’s real and what isn’t when Sasuke first wakes up after the massacre. That’s the thing with genjutsu, and especially one crafted by a true master of the art: done right, it’s so realistic you can’t distinguish the illusion from reality.
This is real, he tells himself as he splashes water on his face in the sink.
This is real, he tells himself when he splits his knuckles on the training post after hitting it for the hundredth time in a row.
This is real, he tells himself, but—
Well.
He’s never quite sure.

Sasuke struggles in the aftermath of the massacre, but a chance encounter with Naruto helps.Series

Summary
Izuku didn’t think of himself as very brave. Fear was a familiar tremor in his bones. But he’d always run to the aid of those who needed it without even a moment of hesitation. In moments like this, there was no room for worrying about whether Izuku—quirkless, useless, Izuku—was good enough. He had to be. There was no other choice.
*or*
Quirkless Hero Student Midoriya Izuku tackles the USJ Incident armed with only his fierce protectiveness and a cattle prod. But while his gloves are protective against electrical currents, the rest of his hero suit is not.

Summary
“I still don’t really understand how to control it,” Izuku admitted, ashamed he hadn’t been able to work out how to better temper the flood of power from One for All. He’d always been good at analyzing quirks, but it was nearly impossible to get a better grasp on how One for All worked without using it, and he couldn’t use it without breaking his body. Which seemed like an idiotic risk to take without supervision.
“Nonsense, my boy,” All Might said, all smiles and reassurance. “You are already progressing in leaps and bounds.”
*or*
All Might's "instruction manual" for using One for All isn't all that helpful, but he's confident Izuku will figure it out.
Izuku is not figuring it out. He needs help.

Summary
A sharp crack echoed through the speakers as one of the villain’s hands reached into the frame and slapped Hitoshi hard across the face. Izuku flinched at the suddenness of it, grip going tight at the way Hitoshi’s head flew to the side from the strength of the blow.
“Hello heroes,” Shigaraki’s voice crooned over the speaker. “You seem to have lost one of your precious little fledglings. But don’t worry. We’ll take good care of him.”
*or*
Izuku, still reeling from the guilt of Hitoshi being taken by a Nomu when it should have been Izuku who was captured, watches a video in which the League of Villains torments their latest hostage. And then he decides to do something about it.

Summary
The rules were put into place because, realistically, Eraserhead couldn’t stop the kid vigilante without arresting him, and he couldn’t arrest him without breaking the fragile trust he’d slowly, slowly, slowly been building over the course of the past eight months.
Check-ins were every twenty minutes on the dot, even if it was just a simple text to say all clear.
The kid had missed his most recent check-in.
*or*
During patrol, Eraserhead doesn't hear from his not-yet-adopted child/teenage protege-vigilante when he's supposed to. When he finally tracks the kid down, the kid's in worse shape than Shouta is prepared to deal with out in the field.

Summary
“Your teammates are mediocre at best,” Ushijima continues. “Any success they manage is only because of your competence. Without you, they would be nothing—”
From anyone else, it would almost be flattering.
“—and yet with them, you have dulled yourself. Your rebellion has cost you.”
Oikawa is bordering on trembling now, fingernails cutting into his palms. “My rebellion?”
*or*
After a rough loss to Shiratorizawa and a rage-inducing conversation with Ushijima afterwards, Oikawa considers his options for the future.

Summary
It doesn’t dawn on him immediately what graduation means; he’s been so focused on volleyball—as he’s always been—and trying to make it to nationals with Karasuno one last time, that it doesn’t really click that there’s no guarantee he and Hinata will ever play on the same team again.
Oh, he knows they'll be separated, but Kageyama has been secure in the knowledge that they’ll at least be playing in the same league. On the same courts.
Playing against each other, if not together, and that’s nearly as good.
Except.
Except then Hinata says, "Brazil."

Summary
Maybe he really is as much of a “neat freak” as all his childhood bullies used to say, but it’s served him well. He’s never had food poisoning, rarely gets sick.
But some things are unavoidable. Even 99.9% disinfectant can’t catch everything.
It starts as a scratch at the very back of his throat.

Summary
It’s not like they’re friends. They practice together, and Kiyoomi gets dragged to mandatory team bonding, and he becomes peripherally aware of some of the things going on in Atsumu’s life.
Like his high school captain settling down at a rice farm.
Like his twin brother opening up his own restaurant.
Like his mother falling ill.
*or*
After Kiyoomi overhears part of a private phonecall between Atsumu and his mother, he starts noticing Atsumu's own well-being seems to be in decline. Unwilling to let the team (*cough* his friend *cough*) suffer, Kiyoomi is determined to get to the bottom of the issue and fix it. Even if that means taking on a more *personal* role.

“No.”

Summary
It’s not like his Iwa-chan is the affectionate sort, not a flirt or a tease or anything like that.
Except he’s letting this girl hang off his arm like she belongs there—the place where Tooru should be, would be if they hadn’t agreed to keep everything quiet for now—and the familiar burn of jealousy scorches through him hot enough that he can’t focus on the notes he’s supposed to be reviewing.
He tells himself, again, that it’s not a big deal, it doesn’t mean anything, he shouldn’t be upset.
But here’s the problem: it keeps happening.

Summary
His toss is starting to go awry, not quite a perfect line, not quite where he needs it, but he hits it anyway.
Again.
His palm is numb from where he’s slapped the ball so many times, red and far past the point of stinging.
Again.
His knee spasms right as he goes to jump, and he stumbles--
"That's enough."
“One more, Iwa-chan,” he says, flashing a flimsy smile. “I don’t want to end on a bad note.”
Before he can reach for the ball, however, it’s snatched out of his grip. Iwaizumi stands there, scowling, keeping the ball away. “I said you’re done.”
*or*
Everything Oikawa has accomplished on the court is the result of hours of dedication and practice. But when those successes seem too little, he pushes himself past the breaking point. It's up to Iwaizumi to keep him in one piece.
