Summary
Findekáno couldn’t be what his father needed and he wouldn’t be what his father wanted, even if it would be the death of him. Which it would; Ñolofinwë’s patience had long burned out, his only goal to see his recalcitrant firstborn dealt with.
Russandol knew his parents weren’t perfect, but he never doubted they loved each other, that they loved all their children. And he couldn’t help but want the same. A partner of his mind and body and fëa, someone to belong to, and with, and everything in between.
What does it mean, to love and be loved? It is time for both Findekáno and Russandol to learn.
