Summary
Following a successful stint in the Home Office, Dr. Helen Sinclair sets out to compete in the upcoming General Election. Soon enough she has to realise she has made enemies while in office. As numerous death threats are made against her, she is given personal protection despite her objections. While protection officer Liv Chenka turns out to be far from the burly guard type she had dreaded, her life is about to become very complicated indeed - and not just because someone is trying to kill her.

Summary
It has been two years since Dr. Helen Sinclair came out publicly, revealing the relationship she had struck up with her bodyguard, Liv Chenka, during her political campaign. She's since been voted into the countries highest office and is carrying out her duties diligently with her loyal partner at her side. With wedding plans taking shape, the first couple of the United Kingdom couldn't be happier, having settled into a harmonious day-to-day. Sometimes, however, the course of a life can change in the blink of an eye, endangering everything that came before. Such is the case when Liv travels home after visiting her sister in Dubai, and the plane she is on is hijacked.
