Summary
Johnny wants V to live. He's tired. He doesn't want to leave Mikoshi alive. He's ready to die again, recognizes that he deserves it.
But V refuses to let him go. She can see where Night City has gone in his absence, how it's fallen as Arasaka regained a hold over them all.
Everyone else wants one or the other.
Except Kerry. He can't pick between them, can't tell one of his friends to kill the other. So, there's no one better for them to go to to settle it.
