Summary
"Its nothing important, nothing that should interest you at least." She dismissed passively.
I still press gently, "Its enough to keep you grounded, Silver One. If you are worried that the Golden One would overhear, she is asleep under a tree and I can shield her out."
"No need, besides, you shouldn't have to worry about your rider's problems. I know you don't like it when I nag." a quick deflection from her, and one I scoff at down our bond.
"Then let it not be a problem between a Dragon and Rider but between an Elder and Hatchling."

Summary
Nothing but the sound of cracking wood is present, as if the whole room is a fucking fire pit. Added to the fact that the ceiling here is even in worse condition than the one outside, dripping with glowing red lava. One of the drops hits the black scaled form that encompasses the near entirety of the space. Its glowing yellow eyes glaring straight at me with its teeth bare teasing death, reeking of the aftermath of a fire blast. It hovers protectively over the one place in the room where its condition is at a staggering contrast to the environment around it.
The place where the sleeping form of the woman that I'm supposed to ride and die with rests, snoring with little tension or care.

Summary
"Mira, is something wrong?" It snaps her out to see her sister again, taking even more detail now that they have a chance to actually see each other. The eye bags under those hazel silver eyes eerily similar to the ones she used to have before she can tolerate the taste of death.
She quickly masks her face, giving her little sister a gentle smile, "There's nothing, Violet."
She can tell that she does not buy it, but neither does she push. Returning her gaze to the fading embers. Even if its beyond hope as the flames fall into the abyss, Mira still asks.
"Do you want more wood?"
"No, it's okay."

Summary
I take great pride in my sense of temper...
I take pride that my restraint is what makes me feared, my past feats that causes fear to tremble down every enemy that glimpses my way. The scars that prove my power in more ways than one. I take pride in relishing in the fruits of my own greatness.
I also take pride on how I am holding back from snapping my teeth at this insolent brat of a daggertail right in front of me.
