He's trying to be the bigger person and stay out of his ex-husband's life except for co-parenting Lexi. Ben's only human and gets on an app, it's been his go-to before. But this time things don't go to plan and a ghost from his past shows up.

Ben returns to Walford earlier than anyone expected. things get awkward then things get angsty and callum has to contend with the end of his relationship in real time.
basically this whole cal/johnny situation is driving me up the wall so here's ben returning to the square (and returning to form because we all know he wouldn't take this lying down).
chapter 1 is short, the rest of this is not Johnny Carter friendly I fear.

Summary
Ben and Callum are divorced. They are not a couple anymore, the only thing that connects them is Lexi.
Callum has Johnny, a new boyfriend that wants a life with him. Ben has just left prison, he is coping with life on the outside again.
Still, Callum can't help but be drawn to his ex-husband, their explosive love, their forceful carnal attraction and their family pulling back to Ben. And Ben, still hopelessly in love with Callum can't say no to him.

But she opens a past she wasn't ready to find out about. Callum is doing his best to keep Lexi but he feels her pulling away and can't figure out a way to stop it without giving up his own love life. So this story has turned out to be much for angst filled than I originally thought - originally the story was supposed to a cute funny story about Ben accidentally getting Callum arrested. It has now turned into much more than that. I hope you enjoy it, I've tried to stay true to the characters.

Finally Ben realises all the damage he’s done to Callum and himself. He decides he needs to fight for them and prove to Callum how much he means to him. Instead of being the Ben Mitchell he thinks he’s expected to be, he decides to become the one he’s always wanted to be. He also decides to let Callum go, let him learn how to be himself without Ben and wait for him to come back. Knowing that a love like theirs is special and they’ll always find a way back together.
