“How do you plan to do that?” Hermione asked, annoyed to find her voice sounded quite breathless.
“Leave that to me,” Draco said, a smirk taking over his face that Hermione had never seen at Hogwarts; it was charming and dangerous at the same time. A flush crawled up her neck and sat beneath the dense twist of curls at the nape of her neck.

“I was hungover and sleep-deprived,” Remus said, putting the tea bag in the bin. “I failed to read the room.”He hadn’t really even planned to get into a relationship, but the day Remus had come home covered in love bites and scratches, grinning ear to ear, he’d needed to cling to something.

“Moony, Sirius would never—” James said.
“You’d also think he wouldn’t bring a man who clearly hates me into our flat multiple times a week too, but that ship has long sailed.” Remus snapped, “Sorry… It’s close.”
“I know, don’t worry.” James sat on the piano stool. “He’ll be here.”He was alarmed when he realised that he had tears in his eyes.
“Moony?” James was next to him on the sofa in an instant. “Talk to me.”
Remus shook his head, “Can’t.”
Lily sat on the floor in front of him. “Re. It’s ok.”
That broke Remus. He choked out a sob“You know as well as I do that he’d choose you over anyone else.”
“So would I.”
“Sirius, you didn’t even choose him over nobody else. This whole farce, because you’re scared, has been you prioritising everything else over Remus for a month now. And look how that’s worked out.” James snapped.”Remus could feel Sirius’ breath on his lips as their noses brushed gently, and it took every fibre of his being to not close the minuscule distance between them. He put a palm on Sirius’ clavicle and pushed gently. “You have a boyfriend.”
(Sirius doesn’t show up for their planned movie night)
“Moony…” Sirius closed his eyes, “I just— I know that you’re not— Please don’t fuck my brother.”
Remus choked on his tea, after spluttering for a few seconds while Sirius rubbed his back tenderly, he snorted. “I solemnly swear, I will never fuck your brother, ok?”As the music transitioned into Black Dog by Led Zeppelin…
“It’s my song! Where’s Moony? It’s my song.”
They looked away from Remus and Barty a moment too late and Sirius turned just in time to see Barty bite Remus’ lower lip, and how it made Remus press even closer to him. Sirius’ mouth dropped open“Alright. You’re pissed off because I’ve fucked both your brother and the bloke you wish was your boyfriend.” Barty set down Sirius’ mug. “It’s understandable. I think I’d be grumpy too.”
(Barry reveals Bones is heard of PARR)
“You also seem to forget that you are the one with a boyfriend. I can do whatever the fuck I want.”
“And what do you want?” Sirius asked tersely.
“You!” Remus shouted, turning to lean on the counter and covering his face. “Jesus fucking Christ. I want you, you utter wanker!”…
“You never said.” He said quietly.
“You still knew. Don’t pretend you didn’t.” Remus said from behind his hands.(Sirius confronts Bones)
“He’s alright once you get to know him, y’know.”
“I’m pretty sure he tried to bite me earlier,” Sirius said, fighting the urge to roll his eyes.
“Ah, yeah. He’s a biter.” Reg shrugged as James snorted.Why is this so hard to explain?”
“Probably because it makes no sense.” He huffed out a laugh, “I know you were trying to look out for me, so ten out of ten for intention, but a massive zero for execution.”Sirius should have known better than to take Remus over to Reg’s flat. When they got there, Reg and Barty were both sitting on the small sofa, leaving the armchair the only free place to sit. Sirius stared at it for too long, not wanting to look at his grinning brother, before Remus sighed, sat down, and pulled Sirius into his lap.
“Alright, who has tonight?” Regulus asked urgently.
Lily sighed and pulled a piece of parchment out of her bag. “Where are we, the 17th? Anytime before the 21st is Barty.”(After full moon, Remus wakes up Sirius in his bed)
“So,” Sirius jumped out of the bed and spun around, eyes wide, “Is this a thing we’ve been doing for long?”
Sirius paused before nodding. “Since the end of last year. It… it helps you recover quicker.” …“What’s today’s plan?”
“Does it matter? Reg already won the bet.” Barty pouted. “Only because I was sabotaged!”He’d done his best to tune out the cheers of his friends…
“They’re going to be unbearable about this, aren’t they?” He murmured.“I don’t think it had occurred to me how disgustingly insufferable they’re going to be,” Regulus said quietly. “Those forty galleons are not going to make up for it.”
“At least you have forty galleons. The rest of us will have to suffer for free.”
