This is a bit of an experiment. I've never published anything before and need some critical feedback on style and pacing. Have a light hearted narrative about language.
‘Alright lads, we’ve got an infiltrator somewhere in the ranks, he could be anyone. All we know is that he was trained in the U.S. by a terrorist group called C.H.U.D., most likely an American native who replaced someone during or just after selection, so look out for American accents slipping out and keep tight on opsec.’
In the audience of seated men, the American radical C.H.U.D. agent, Braxton Hicks, currently known as Charlie Smith raised a hand to his face to hide a wicked smirk. They didn’t know! He had been picked for his flawless imitation of a British accent, surely nothing else would give him away.

The close proximity makes something warm in Kitty's chest, Katie's breaths echoing over his face as he delicately cleans the blood off. At some point, he feels Katie slump in his grasp, the cold sensation perhaps being pleasant for her. In Kitty's humble opinion, anything related to water was not at all pleasant. Despite this, he does not remove his hand after there remain no blood traces.

Jim, currently a part of a Vulcan-Earth exchange program, meets a young, rebellious Spock that literally could not care less about politics and diplomacy. Of course, Jim's first instinct is to get into Spock's pants. The most logical course of action is to seek out reinforcements when, afterwards, Jim decides to ask Spock out on a real first date.
Amanda ships them, Sarek has no idea what is going on, and Jim is having the time of his life. Spock's somehow used to this.
