With his legs wanting to give up and his lungs screaming, he is now running into the darkness because what's left is a world he won't live in.
Flins is standing on the balcony, dangerously close to the edges when he arrives at the lighthouse. The desk inside is covered in dozens of letters, all of which are farewells.
For years, Illuga has kept words inside his chest. But first, he wants to make Flins understand something just as important.
If Flins disappears, he is taking Illuga with him.

Summary
"Will you stay?" Illuga's voice comes out more strangled than he wanted, the desperate lilt of it clear even to his own ears. It makes him want to wince, recoil into himself, at his own wretched state, but he stays. Stills himself for the answer, heart rattling against his ribcage in what might be fear.
A deep, pervasive terror.
Flins' eyes seem dim underneath the pale moonlight reflecting off the water. Lifeless. His limbs twist oddly when he turns.
They stand close, almost touching, and Illuga feels the heat crawling up the back of his neck alongside the sudden queasiness.
Flins' smile stretches wide when he speaks.
"Will you let me?"
After his father's death, Illuga takes on the duty of a lightkeeper on the desolate island he calls his home. With his mind fraying, he tries to make do.
