“I just wanted to say I had absolutely nothing to do with the changes. I mean honestly, when they asked for recommendations I asked if I could be alone,” Galinda starts, gesticulating as she talks, launching into something that can only generously be described as a ramble.
More bewildered than anything, Elphaba can’t do anything but watch as words tumble forth from Galinda’s mouth, as she goes on and on, probably further attempting to absolve herself of any blame.
Suddenly, Elphaba remembers that she hasn’t actually seen who her roommate is…
And she’s got a sneaking suspicion that her assignment is standing right in front of her.
(Or: stage management should be easy for Elphaba, but the actors seem to go out of their way to make it difficult— namely Galinda Upland, her new roommate, hellbent on disrupting every inch of Elphaba’s carefully-laid routine.)

Technically, she wasn’t even in Rockford; this bar was just outside of town.
But the house was too loud, and Carson was too in her head, or in Charlie’s head, to notice Greta leaving, and Sarge had taken one look at Greta’s face when she caught her on the porch and simply nodded, a million unspoken words exchanged in a look.

Nancy didn’t expect to find herself in this much of a predicament. When she started spending time with both Steve and Robin–and each of them separately–it seemed like the best of both worlds. She finally had a girl friend (a friend that was a girl, that is, not… the other interpretation) her own age that she could talk to about things like her hair falling out in clumps, ways to stop picking at her nails, and places to buy clothes that weren’t so expensive. Not only that, but she and Steve were finally patching up their relationship, and things felt like they were headed back to how they were. Well… sort of.
Because she was pretty sure that you weren’t supposed to get butterflies around your ex. And she was absolutely sure you weren’t supposed to get butterflies around your ex’s best friend, who also happens to be a girl.

Tara sits cross-legged beside her, flipping idly through a book Willow can tell she isn’t reading, because every few seconds, Tara glances at her, then looks away again before Willow can catch her at it. It’s kinda really cute.
Okay, she maybe shouldn’t think that. Except she does. And it is.
“You—um.” Tara clears her throat. “You, uh, comfy?”
Willow grins, tucking her chin against her shoulder as she shifts against the pillows. “Very.” She hesitates, glancing at Tara from under her lashes. “You sure you don’t want this back?”
Tara shakes her head too quickly. “No! I mean… y-you’re still, um, still wearing it, so.”
Now that’s an interesting answer. Not a 'no, I don’t need it'. Not even a 'you’re still cold'. Just 'you’re still wearing it', like that explains everything. Like that’s the reason Tara doesn’t want it back. Which… okay, wow, no, she’s not thinking about this too hard, not even a little. She’s also definitely not thinking about how Tara’s hands flex over the book in her lap, fingers twisting around the edges of the pages. Or how Tara keeps glancing at her mouth.

Jessica Hoang takes her job very seriously. It’s odd, or uncommon, as she’s learned- people are always so surprised when she seems more loyal to Lena Luthor than the advancement of her own career. She used to think that the whole trope of secretaries selling out their bosses for personal gain existed only in bad TV shows, but, as always, she overestimates the human race.
So when Kara Danvers the reporter starts showing up more often, she’s wary and a little irritated. Yes, Lena said to let her in at any time, so she does so dutifully, but she’s seen her share of reporters and she’s not impressed with the bunch. Words are their trade, and it wouldn’t take much to motivate a reporter to twist Lena’s image around for a pretty buck.
