Summary
About a week after that, All Might asked Izuku if he was aiming for the hero course at UA. The question was so sudden that Izuku nearly dropped a microwave on his toes.
The truth was, if All Might had asked him that a week ago, there would have only been one possible answer to that question. All Might had gone to UA, UA was the best, so Izuku was going to go there too, if he could. But things were a little different, now that he was going to receive All Might’s Quirk.
“No,” he said, decisively.
All Might looked caught off guard, which was a very rare expression on him. “No?” he echoed, like he couldn’t believe it.
A laugh bubbled out of Izuku’s throat. He honestly couldn’t believe it either. “No,” he repeated.

Or, All Might tells Izuku about All for One before he gives him One for All, and everything changes.

Summary
Izuku was born a treasured child, doted by his parents and lacking no love or happiness.
But in a world were soulmates are absolute, he soon finds that familial love is inferior to that of the bond between souls.
He wasn't enough for his father, his very existence caused his mother's demise, and now faced with the reality of two soulmates that have already matched with one another, he believes his existence valueless.
So he does what he always does best, he hides, and he hopes that they will find happiness with each other, away from his tainted prescence.
Izuku just isn't worth anyone's love and devotion, walking down a path he knows will eventually lead to his demise, he would rather not make a mark on anyone.
He could only keep his promise for so long...

Summary
After getting into UA's hero course, Izuku had three goals he was determined to achieve.
1- use his quirk to become the best hero he could be and help everyone, no matter who they were
2- keep the exact nature of his quirk a secret (and make sure his best friend kept it secret as well)
3- make sure no one found out about his mum until he'd achieved his first goal, especially his teachersAfter his quirk is revealed at the USJ when the League of Villains attacked, Izuku thought that UA would turn into another Aldera where he would only have Kachan and his ghost friends on his side. To his shock, this didn't end up being the case but now Izuku faces an entirely unforeseen problem. With friends and teachers slowly breaking down his walls, Izuku finds himself fighting to try and keep his teachers from growing more suspicious about his home life and past while dealing with his over protective best friend, the pressure of the looming Sports Festival, and the very real possibility that he might just end up failing that third goal.
Also, what the hell is One For All and why are the seven ghosts haunting All Might so worried about Izuku finding out about it?
