“Come to my ship!” Luffy exclaimed loudly, four eyes turning to him in unison. “My ship is right next to us. I can take Torao there and Chopper will get him all fixed up. Then I can take him to the market to get the doctor clothes you need.” Luffy was smiling so wide it had to hurt even with his rubbery skin. “And,” he continued while looking straight into Law’s golden eyes, a surprising level of tension lingering between the two men while Luffy searched them intently. “While Torao is on my ship I can give him all his surprises! That is,” he added with a smirk of his own. “If Torao wants.”

“Ace and Sabo should mind their own business, don’t you think?,” Law said, trapping the younger man under his body, a hand over Luffy’s head and the other holding his jaw, the thumb caressing his lips softly. “I don't do things that I don’t want, Luffy, you should know that by now,” he mumbled, lowering his face to merely brush their lips but not kissing yet.

Summary
Law could solve any problem if he put his mind to it, but Strawhat Luffy was the one thing he couldn’t figure out, no matter how hard he tried.
And as insane as it sounded, maybe sleeping with him would give Law the answers he needed. Maybe after all was said and done, he could finally close the chapter of his life where his eyes always followed Luffy wherever he went.
Or maybe, deep down, Law just wanted to know what it felt like to be loved by someone like Luffy—even if it was only for one night.
