At least, that's what Caline Bustier thought and was told. Rather than get both sides of the story, Bustier pulled Marinette aside to confront her and blame her. She never expected Marinette to talk back. Worse, Bustier never expected the words out of Marinette's mouth.

he's fairly sure the temperature in the room drops ten degrees when he says that. every member of the league, though all looking at dabi, have varying expressions of murderous intent painted on their faces.
hawks can feel his muscles tense. obviously, he should have /not/ have said it that way.
