Summary
The grandfather clock ticked ominously.
Tim’s eyes widened slowly.
“Oh my God,” he whispered. “I’m alone.”
He made coffee at three in the afternoon after that with absolutely no one saying, “Tim, perhaps water occasionally?” He even wandered into Bruce’s study just because he could.
Sat in Bruce’s chair and swiveled once.
Twice.
Then immediately stopped because somehow even empty, the room radiated Disappointed Father Energy.
“Right,” Tim muttered. “Forgot this room is haunted.”
OR
When Tim just got back from school breakout and he had too much fun at the Manor. Key word: too much.

“Describe the weapon,” Bruce said.
“Knife,” Tim replied.
“Yes, I gathered that.”
“Small. Metal. Pointy. Very on-brand.”
“Tim.”
Tim frowned slightly, watching the bruise continue its quiet rebellion under his skin.
“It didn’t look special,” he admitted. “Just… a knife.”
Jason snorted. “Congratulations. You’ve been stabbed by the world’s most suspiciously dramatic ‘just a knife.’”
OR
Where Tim got stabbed and everyone was making a big deal out of it.

Summary
Tim skated to the faceoff circle.
Across from him was a guy with a smirk that suggested a personality composed entirely of protein powder and poor decisions.
“You’re Drake, right?” the guy said. “Heard you think you’re fast.”
Tim blinked. “I am fast. I also think. Multitasking.”
The guy slashed his stick lightly against Tim’s shin after the whistle.
OR
Tim likes hockey. Tim dislikes the result of it.

Summary
Tim got sent to the principal’s office anyway because apparently flipping someone over your shoulder is “excessive force” even if they started it and even if you used the minimum amount of spine rearrangement necessary.
So now he had a disciplinary warning, no lunch, and a quiz on derivatives.
By fourth period his brain felt like it had been replaced with warm oatmeal. He got one question wrong because he wrote the answer in Cyrillic out of sheer sleep deprivation. The teacher circled it in red and wrote “????” which felt deeply judgmental.
-Where Tim found out in a hard way that he's not always right.

Summary
Jason was laughing so hard he had to lean on Damian, who immediately shoved him off.
“Don’t touch me. Also, this is pathetic. You’re all pathetic. Todd, your face still twitches when someone says the word ‘crowbar.’”
“Do not start with me, gremlin.”
“I will end you.”
“Oh yeah? Say goodbye to your ability to produce heirs—”
Jason’s foot shot out. It didn’t connect with Damian because Tim, always the unlucky soul, stepped forward at the worst possible second.
OR
That time when Tim finally joined the gala but all in all, Waynes didn't know how to act normal in one.

Summary
Peter Parker, like any 14 year old superhero mutant, really wants to catch a break. And yet somehow, he never gets one. He's just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, nothing special, so what gives?
Well, that's only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. Or his extensive track record of running away from his guardians and that he was homeless for a bit. Or the amount of people in his life that have died because he's some kind of bad luck charm. Or that his foster-dad is Tony Stark now.
Or the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school, and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of strange vigilantes that keep stalking him.
He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool. Though something about them- especially Nightwing- is familiar, that's not important. He has enough on his plate right now, considering there are multiple people trying to upend the fabric of time and space. He can figure out the other details later.

Summary
The call goes through on the second ring.
“…Dokja?”
His voice is rough with sleep, but there’s no real irritation in it. Just that same flat tone he always uses, like he’s already awake enough to assess the situation.
I swallow. My mouth is dry.
“…Did I wake you?”
-Or when Dokja is having a nightmare and Joonghyuk is there for him.
