Summary
After a few years of living together in New York Alex and Henry's lives are going great, but Queen Mary is an ever looming shadow. When she summons Henry back to England for apology tour for a comment he makes on a podcast, Henry and Alex realize something needs to change. Before they can make that change, though, Henry's plane home from the apology tour crashes in the Canadian wilderness, killing all on board.
Or so Alex is lead to believe. Trapped in his grief, he flees back home to Texas to try and start over. And over. And over. He finally settles in a small town at a small lawfirm, but it isn't until he joins the local volunteer fire department that his life starts to finally turn back around.
Only Henry isn't dead. In an attempt to both smother his "corrupting influence" but still protect the line of succession until Philip has kids, Mary has had him squirreled away deep in the Australian outback.
And, well, it's amazing how often the outback burns, isn't it? Sometimes, it burns so bad, they need help from international firefighters...

“Okay, teen pop star sensation Henry Fox. What demon is keeping you awake at this time?”
You, he wants to answer sincerely but admitting he’d just gotten off to videos of Alex touching his chest seductively would earn him a restraining order, probably. Instead, he chooses to say, “I always feel a bit peckish after a show. It’s hard labor.”
“Sure, I get it. Strutting on stage in heels and shaking your little ass for millions night after night sounds exhausting.”
“I quite think you like my arse, darling. You had no problem smacking it around in front of those millions and the many more who saw it online.” Henry bites back, just a bit defensively.
“To be fair, every time I’ve seen your ass there has been too much fabric in the way. I’d need to get close and personal to give an unbiased assessment.”
“Oh, wouldn’t you just like that, hm?” Henry aims for teasing but he’s got flashes of being naked in front of Alex and being worshiped in his mind’s eye, so he thinks he misses the mark a bit. Alex’s eyes widen slightly and he visibly gulps.
“Yeah. I would. Are you offering?”

“UnlessIgetcreampied,” he rushes out at once, hoping his accent garbled that enough.
“Okay? So, what’s the problem? I know pulling men isn’t a problem for you, sweetheart. You’ve got poor bastards groveling at your feet for one chance.”
“I can’t let a stranger in me without protection and I certainly won’t let them fill me,” Henry responds with clear disgust and disbelief because Alex knows how careful and strict he is about safe sex.
“What about, uh, a non-stranger?”
Henry pauses. “What do you mean?”
“I mean. Well. I can do it. I’m not a stranger. I’ll creampie you.”
