After the nth time a random stowaway appears, this one is a goddamn skeleton, Marco just sighs and points them in the direction of their new second division commander.
Because for some ungodly reason all they seem to care about is Whitebeard's newest son, Ace.
(Ace is very confused and has never met these people in his life.)
Or: The Strawhats will always only bow to one king, and Whitebeard is not that man. Unfortunately for everyone, that man is nowhere to be found.

Summary
Luffy. He’s smiling like the sun and he has that stupid scar under his eye and the stupider straw hat on his head. Ace thinks he can see other scars, but the picture is a bit blurry and Ace’s eyes are watering. He’s crying. Ace is crying because his baby brother is alive and he doesn’t know how to be happy about it.
Gol D. Roger, King of the Pirates, died there. Luffy needs to know what the last thing he saw was. Needs to know if the man saw the sea in his last moments. So, he ignores the Marines yelling at him and climbs the tower to stand at the top. He can see the whole port in the distance, can almost see the Merry in the distance. Luffy turns around and sees Reverse Mountain in the distance. It looks so small from here. Luffy can’t wait until it’s bigger than life in front of him.
Ace's brother has been dead for years now. He's not okay with it, but the ache is dulled. Until a new Wanted Poster is spread across the seas with a familiar face.
Luffy will never abandon someone who is hurting. Especially when that someone is his Nakama. He will destroy whoever dares harm those he considers his own.

basically, i don't like that all these amazing characters have 0 actual lore or story (yeah that's right freak the episodic 11 ep, more like 3 ep web series!) but um, here's my take on an actual adventure they'd go on

All of them jump in place, and Yutani sighs.

“Fuck? What does fuck mean Tani???” Fresh blurts out.
"Uhh, I might have.. Er nipped a wire, before successfully detaching the thingy.”
They all groan at her mishap.
“Hey! I’ve done much more then all of you this entire time, im allotted one fuck up.”
Jake crosses his arms and tilts his head.
“You’d be allotted that fuck up if it weren’t for the fact that if you mess up it usually means like… imminent death”

Summary
Papyrus was no stranger to strange and disturbing things; after all, there was a mysterious machine in his basement, his brother’s room was practically another dimension, and he didn’t even want to think about the dog shrine he’d once found when he was cleaning beneath the sink. (Just – how???) And that was just the strange and disturbing things that could be found inside his house! Outside of that, there were countless other bizarre people and things that he had seen throughout the Underground.
...So, you might have thought that The Great Papyrus would be so used to encountering unusual and horrifying phenomena by now that he wouldn’t even bat an eye (or eye socket, as the case may be) if he ran into one more strange and disturbing thing! And, well… usually, you would have been correct!
The thing was… The thing was. Usually… usually, the strange and disturbing things he found were not the lifeless body of his brother.
Ink runs out of paint in an AU that is an offshoot of the original Undertale universe. Papyrus is the one to find him, and has to work out what is wrong with this lifeless clone of his brother, and how to nurse him back to health.
