    Eddie’s head spun. “Sent home? But the school didn’t…” He shook his head, realising exactly what had happened with the school. He’d deal with it later. “Why didn’t you call me?” 

    His mother spread her hands. “You were working, Eddie, we know how important days like today are for you,” she said. 

    It was incredible how she could sound perfectly reasonable and yet so very patronising at the same time.

    Have you ever thought of writing a story in which Tony pushed to have Gibbs mentally examine? His temper and the fact he was a Marine sniper don't mix. Sniper are patience, discipline and emotional controlled... that doesn't sounds like Gibbs.
