Summary
He was glancing at the clock on the wall when his eye caught on a boy, sitting at one of the high tables, little more than five feet away. The kid was staring at him in fascination, straw forgotten and dangling from his lips. There was a dollop of whip cream on his nose.
“Can I help you?” Peter asked, eyebrow raised in disapproval.
“Are you a doctor?”
Peter frowned. “Most certainly not.”
“Ah,” the kid sighed. “Then no.”
His eyes stayed glued to Peter’s face, the intensity of his gaze putting the man on edge.
“Didn’t your parents tell you it’s rude to stare?” Peter snapped.
“Sure, but I’ve never seen a real werewolf before!”
In that moment Peter was glad for his iron-clad self control. His eyes didn’t flash, his teeth didn’t lengthen, but his jaw sure as hell fell open.
“I beg your pardon!”
Or the one where Stiles just keeps popping up in Hale business.

4/26/26 - oh, this was thoroughly enjoyable. I loved the little pop ups that Stiles did initially. And of course, precocious as a little incredibly smart boy and Spark. Totally read again.

Summary

Summary
Ever since the Nogitsune caused havoc and nearly killed several people, Stiles had been alone. No texts, no emails, calls, nothing. Even his father had become distant and no longer acted when Stiles woke screaming in the night.

8/24/25 - good story and pretty original for the “Stiles kicked out” trope. I particularly enjoyed that it was more than just Stiles and Peter that left. Good amount of action. I did think the attacks on Stiles were a bit contrived. I enjoyed the cohesive actions of Stiles and his packmates. Worth a future reading. 4/23/26 - yep, I agree with my earlier statements.
