Summary
Liam bit at his lower lip as he looked around, his fingers tapping anxiously at his side. Theo heard the betas heart skip a few beats, reminding him of his own unsteady heartrate.
“Are you ok?” Liam hesitantly asked.
Theo looked up at Liam’s words, concern written across the betas face. Theo was too freaked out to even come up with a smartass response, something about Liam always leaving him feeling more vulnerable.
He swallowed thickly before answering, his eyes wandering down to the ground where the bloody scalpel still laid. The spider had disappeared into thin air, but Theo could still feel it there, crawling beneath his skin and invading his space.
“Not really.”

What if instead of getting kidnapped after the spider incident, Liam finds Theo instead. They pine and pretend to hate each other.

Summary
His arms were wrapping around Liam’s neck in a manner that had become all too common for him, Theo pulling Liam in close as bullets began to fly their way.
The elevator doors suddenly got their shit together, closing just as he pulled Liam over the threshold, the two falling into one another, Theo with his back against the wall.
Theo couldn’t hear anything except their combined erratic beating hearts, Liam’s familiar scent filling his nostrils.
It took him, and Liam it seemed, a moment to realize they were tangled up together, one of Theo’s arms still protectively wrapped around Liam, the beta all but in his lap.
Liam quickly shrugged him off and made to stand, beelining for the buttons, his claws tapping at the hold button. Theo stayed where he was, looking up at Liam.
“What’re you doing here?” Liam all but shouted, more freaked out at the situation than angry with Theo.
Theo scoffed. “I was just about to ask myself the same thing.”

“How are you feeling” Liam asked
He was sore and tired but the worst seemed to be over.
"Alive" he then answered with a heavy breath "what happened?"
"Do you prefer the light version or the insult-filled one?" Liam asked in response as he was working on something next to him.
“The one you like the most” Theo replied, trying to see what the beta was doing.
“Does it hurt?” Liam asked instead, looking at him worriedly.
“No” Theo shook his head, “no why-”
Theo froze when he saw what Liam was holding in his fingers.
It was a needle, tied to a thread, tied to… his skin?
Liam was stitching him up?or
The war is over. Theo is bad at taking care of himself. Liam is good enough to do it for him.
