Izuku Midoriya is not a lucky person. Ostracized by society, called useless and worthless, he tries and tries.
At age 11, this trying results in his bullies concussing and damaging him enough that Inko and Hisashi take Izuku out of public school. On top of that, he activates a quirk? Which should be biologically impossible?
Weeks later, Inko Midoriya is taken in for 'possible terroristic intent'.
A commentary on power, corruption, and the masks we wear.

“How So?” I ask the bipedal mammal in front of me. They are one of the first of their species, and yet they have more pain in their eyes than I have seen yet.
“You’re…” They gesture at what I think is my face with their palms. ‘Odd… no claws to tear, no teeth to puncture. No tail to balance. Life certainly is wonderful…’
“And what of my face? Is it truly so ghastly that you can’t put words together?” I say in a somewhat humorously self-deprecating manner.
“In pain? Like me?”

Nezu stared for a moment, unmoving. The analysis wasn't good, the opposite, in fact. He compared the boy he'd seen tear a robot apart with a screwdriver and spite and the remarkably simple notes in the book before him and blinked slowly. It simply didn't add up. Midoriya (Nezu had made sure to look up the boy's name and taken note of the single parent listed as his guardian.) was smart, smart enough to know how to take down the machines with minimal destruction and injury, yet had labeled Wash's quirk as 'Very cool' and 'moist'. That was it, all the notes about Wash's quirk.
(Midoriya is good at analysis, yes, but not so much when it came to writing it down and makes the fatal mistake of forgetting his notebook at the UA entrance exams.)
