Instead of standing in his own way and only focusing on the dead Lily Potter lying on the floor, Severus Snape actually registers the small bleeding child that is Harry Potter and while not completely sensible in his further action, he at least has enough of a change of heart to pick the boy up and take him away from this crime scene.
With Harry now in Snape’s only barely capable hands, chaos ensues and fun is to be had at the Snape residence.

This is mainly stupid fluff with Severus struggling to raise a chaotic magical child all by himself that he still can’t help but love and will only focus on domestic fluff going on between them and future friends and helpers; the rest of the wizarding world will be firmly ignored in all of this, except of course for direct contact with our duo. -

Harry Potter was very lonely. Yes, he had friends, a good job, and just finished his mastery in defense, but it was usually just him and his son all alone at night when everyone else had families and lives apart from them. When he learned by chance that he may actually have some living family, it should have been an easy decision to reach out to them. Unfortunately, nothing comes easily to Harry. Harry's biological father just had to be the most difficult person in the world to get a meeting to see, and the absolutely most suspicious when confronted with a paternity claim.
Tony Stark was very lonely. He and Pepper had recently broken up. His friends had betrayed him, and he was now forced to live with the very same people who had hurt him. He didn't think he could take one more blow and stay standing under it. Tony didn't have family; he didn't know what to do with family; too bad Tony's family wasn't sure what to do with him either, but they were going to give it a hell of a try anyway.
