Summary
To the surprise of nobody, the bed and the couch used to have a friends-with-benefits arrangement between them. Technically, Betty supposed, they still had it, but they hadn’t acted on it for over a year now, so she wasn’t sure if things were the same, especially after the human actively entered their lives.
She watched closely as Koa’s expression went from confused, to surprised, to intrigued in the span of merely seconds. A slow smirk appeared on the couch’s face and his voice had dropped when he spoke again.
“If you want a turn, Betty, all you have to do is ask nicely,” he told her and a shiver ran down her spine.
