Louis wouldn’t look at him. At all. That was the worst part, worse than the guilt and the anger and the undeserved sympathetic looks Niall kept shooting his way from across the room. Louis hadn’t been able to look at him properly since that horrible day in June, all those months ago, when Harry had sat everyone down in that awfully sterile meeting room where all of One Direction’s Most Important Decisions were made, and announced that he wanted out. Not since that huge blow up argument they’d had after, when Louis had told him, through tears, that if the band was over then so were they.
