They just didn’t get it. Yeah he felt bad for making his brothers feel like that, but he was trying. He just wanted their missions to go smoothly for once without incident. Was that so much to ask? Donnie took a step back noting that during Raph’s rant he had stepped closer to him as an act of intimidation. It worked, but Donnie would never admit that.
“I just wanted the mission to not go to shit for once! All you guys do is goof off and that in turn messes everything else up and we end up letting the villains get away or one of us injured! Is that what you guys want? All I wanted was to help. I’m sorry I hurt you, but was it really that bad of me to make a device that makes you guys stop being so careless?” Donnie asked angrily throwing his hands up dramatically.

This can be read completely independently, chapter's 1-9 are exactly the same as my original story, chapter 10 is mostly the same with just some minor differences at the end, forward it will be a different story with a happy ending due to popular demand. There is still a healthy dose of angst, jut, yk, it actually ends well. In the end notes of chapter 10 I will post what the differences in that chapter from the original if people coming from the original work don't want to reread it all
