Summary
Kaito is the youngest Space Explorer Ship Captain in Corp history. Those above him are about to send him on a new mission to a region further out than the Corp has ever sent anyone before. Kaito is fine with it… as long as he gets his regular crew.
Command Central agrees to Kaito’s request, although without telling him, they include a new member who did not come up through the Corps. She is a hired assassin sent along for her fighting ability, presumably to keep the crew safe from the unknown in the depths of the universe.
As the crew assembles, Kaito takes note of the new member and asks his first mate, Shuichi, about her. Shuichi does not know where but commits to find out. Kaito decides he will also do what he can to find out. He is not pleased that Command is messing with his crew’s dynamic. However, as he gets to know the new cadet, he is less bothered by the change. Summary
The (not very) long-awaited sequel to the first volume of The Future of the Future! Yes, you do need to have read the first volume for this to make any sense.
The Future Foundation continues to do all they can to protect the world against Remnants of Despair, though they are beginning to wonder if their job may be near completion. The world is not totally safe however, and Japan, in particular, appears to be in danger from another unidentified threat. As the agents debate how involved they need to be, they find the organization doing what they can to help. A few obstacles along the way cause Alpha Team members Kaito and Maki to reconsider how much they should contribute to the effort. (But of course, you know they get roped into it all anyway!)

Summary
After the tragic events caused by the Remnants of Despair, the Future Foundation is well are of the need to be on constant surveillance of more uprisings. This necessitates finding additional recruits for the Foundation. Searching for the highest quality in perspective agents means looking among the best of the best in young people. Combing through the list of students in the current graduating class at Hope’s Peak Academy, two are found to stand out to be the Foundation’s best bet. But while Kaito and Maki complement each other as possible partners for the Foundation, how well will they actually be able to work together?
Background: The events of Danganronpa 1-3 occurred as canon. However, from there, we move to a new AU for the characters of V3, who will never have participated in the game. However, they are recruited for Hope’s Peak for the Ultimate talents for which they are famous.
So, this is a KaiMaki through and through with not much of a B plot. Still, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Y'all don't mind if I kick off Momoharu Week a little early (at least for EST), right???
Welcome to Momoharu Week 2023 – my favorite week of the year! This year, I challenged myself to write a coherent story laced together with all of the prompts. This was a lot harder than you might think. But I still managed to create a love story that became a sort of Cinderella story, Danganronpa style! It’s very simplistic, singularly focused, and not deep at all. But it’s Kaito and Maki, so that all that matters, right? I guess I should mention that it’s not canon, and this author OBVIOUSLY does not believe in slow burn, ha ha. ;)
I will still post one chapter each day (likely around 7:00 – 8:00 am EST), even though there was one day I had to skip, because I couldn’t make it work. I will give you a heads up for that one. Chapter titles are the given prompts.
So sit back, and drink in your tooth-rotting fluff at whatever pace you want. Imma gonna be reading all the rest. So THANK YOU!

Summary
Maki Harukawa is in her second semester at Hope's Peak University's acting program, and she got called back for the lead role in this semester's musical. Unsure of her performance abilities due to never having had a chance to shine in previous acting opportunities, she has to prove to both herself and the rest of her cast that she can play the role she's been cast in, while navigating making her first true friends since elementary school, and her feelings for one of her fellow cast members. Is she truly deserving of good things?
You do not need to have read the other installments of my Danganronpa Theatre AU to enjoy this particular story.
You also do not need to have seen "Heathers: the Musical" to enjoy this story, but I highly recommend it!

[Pregame/no-ultimates AU]
Hopes Peak Academy is like any other old high school.
Mind-numbingly BORING, as nothing interesting seems to happens there.
Shuichi gets through school with his best friends Kirumi, Kokichi, Kaito, and Miu. These friends would do anything for each other. Anything.Shuichi's life gets flipped upside down when an apocalypse erupts in their usually quiet school, along with their uneventful but homely town, Kashinobushi.
A virus spreads, causing those infected to turn into cannibalistic monsters.Shuichi, his friends, and some of his classmates end up getting trapped in their own school when the virus hits.
Naturally, Shuichi is concerned for any possible students who may die in their group. Its up to Shuichi to protect any possible victims and make sure no one else dies.
...That's easier said than done, you know.
This is a completed story of a zombie-apocalypse AU, containing characters from the Danganronpa franchise. Since this is not only Danganronpa but a zombie apocalypse, there will be descriptions of death, gore, murder, and sexual content that may or may not be uncomfortable for certain audiences.

When Maki decides to confess her feelings to Kaito, it disrupts the preestablished dynamics of the training trio's friendship in a way that sparks a journey of self discovery and eventual acceptance, with many mishaps along the way.p.s. when I say slow burn, I mean that Kaimaki confession doesn't happen until the end of chapter 2...

Summary
Shuichi had been sick for as long as he could remember, and has recently resigned himself to spend his days confined in a hospital as the growing turmoil of the outside world quickly becomes too dangerous. His life is boring. He watches the news to pass the time, theorizing and marveling at this new group of vigilantes known as Ultimates try and save society from completely collapsing in on himself. Despite everything, a small part of him feels… almost lucky (almost) to be living in a world where something like actual superheroes seem to exist.
Until the changes start, anyway.
When an expected development in his health leads to the disappearance of his closest friend, Shuichi is forced to flee everything he’s ever known in an effort to find the truth. He finds himself thrown in the midst of a group of runaways that all seem to come from situations similar to his own, and his… somewhat unnerving new abilities may prove vital to the group’s survival as they’re faced with betrayal and deception at every turn.
