Summary
This fic is an alternative ending to part one of the series. The idea for this came from tumblr:
Imagine yoir OTP, lying in bed, foreheads pressed together, just gazing into each other's eyes and taking it all in. Everything is silent.
And them Person A suddenly sneezes and scares Person B so badly that they fall out of bed.First part does not have to be read to understand what is happening.

Zolf reflects, and Wilde makes something.
OR: Endings are difficult, beginnings are worse, and continuing is the worst of all. But sometimes, just the fact that it's possible is what's most important.

Summary
"He just needed something, anything, to do. Anything that would help him get off of his ass and make him useful again. He needed to be useful so he didn’t have to deal with the grief that came with abandoning the only people that cared about him.
He thought about Wilde, but dismissed the thought almost as quickly as it came. Why, of all people, did his mind go to Wilde? The man was an ass, and he probably wouldn't even want anything to do with Zolf more that he wasn't bound by the contract. It had been a few days, so Earhart was probably gone by now. She didn't give the impression of liking to stay in one place for long. It wasn't like it would be easy to track her down anyway.
So who did that even leave?"
Or, Zolf deals with a lot during the 18 months he's separated from the London Rangers. That includes finding new people and old... acquaintances that can help him get out of the rut he's found himself in in Prague.
Or or, a few snippets of Zolf's time as the world falls apart.

Summary
Wilde’s face goes slack for a moment. He stares off into the distance, looking like he’s lost in an unpleasant memory. Then he shakes himself and grabs for the bottle, sloshing whisky over his glass. Some of it makes it into the glass, too. “Let’s just say it was an interesting morning, and leave it at that.”
Stuck in Prague, Zolf and Wilde run into each other in a bar.

Summary
“I don’t know who I am without my work, anymore," Wilde exhales, "and I don’t – I don’t know how to find out. We saved the world, and so much of it I’ve never seen as myself, just as whatever purpose I was fulfilling there.” Zolf can feel him breathe deeply next to him. He’s staring into the distance, brow furrowed.
“You could do that now,” he suggests, and he isn’t sure why he says it, or what he’s trying to achieve by it. “Travel, I mean. See the world, or whatever.”
“Yes, I could,” Wilde says slowly. Then he adds, like the words are spilling out of him, “You could come with me, if you wanted.”
Zolf breathes in, as slow as he can. He’d known, from the moment they’d started talking, that this is where they might end up, and still the proposal takes him by surprise.
“You don’t have to,” Wilde is saying over the drumming in Zolf’s chest, “but you said you didn’t know what to do, so…”
“I’d like that,” he blurts out, taking himself by surprise with the certainty of it. “I think I’d like that.”

Summary
This safe house, which had apparently been Barrett's, is big and elaborate, but it was built for humans and Azu has to stoop for most doorways. There's no way to go out and look at the sky, either, not in this Other London that's basically one big cavern. Azu can't quite imagine what it must have been like to grow up here, or anywhere underground like this. It feels stifling. Like it might cave in at any moment.
She goes looking for Zolf.
