Summary
Jimin is a simple peasant mage living in a cold, dark valley at the edge of the kingdom. He journeys to the center of the kingdom where the palace is located to fulfill his birth prophecy to save his village from despair. When he realizes the Ember Prince Yoongi holds the key to saving his village, Jimin is determined to trick the prince into helping him. He isn’t expecting the prince to fall in love with him.

Jimin blinked at the lights shining through windows, under eaves, in the sprawling marketplaces. It was then that he realized not all of those lights were stationary.
Flickers.
The creatures of light flitted about, almost like shining butterflies, but more like quivering, double discs of brilliant golden light than flapping wings. Jimin could feel the heat from their presence when they fluttered past him. They weren’t moving in swarms, but rather like loose clusters, as if floating in the air. Slow, sleepy, and yet so, so beautiful they nearly took his breath away. Even as a practitioner of magic, Jimin couldn’t help to be awed by their beauty.

Summary
The son of a mer shaman is offered in thanks to the land dwelling emperor for calling off all poaching in their waters. Jimin carries two pearl tears born from the pain of his sacrifice. He is willing to do this for his people.
The emperor doesn't want him, but a rejection would insult the entire race of merfolk.
Sneak Peek:
The blanket-like cloth around his shoulders drags behind him, rolling and shifting like waves of wine in a swaying barrel, leaving a slight trail of water after. His silver-gold hair is shorn close against his neck, the upper half falling just to his jewelry-free ears.
He holds his head high and his back straight as he takes each step.

Summary
Jimin and Yoongi never got along in university, when they were classmates for a semester. Once their course ended, they never contacted each other again. Until now.
Years later, Jimin is a professional ballet dancer living on his own in the upper floor of a two-part apartment building. Min Yoongi moves in downstairs.

Yoongi belatedly realized he hadn’t responded when Jimin started to pull away, wiping at his face.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have—I know you hate me,” tumbled out of Jimin’s mouth, as his face crumpled up and more tears leaked out.
Yoongi’s eyes widened. “No—wait, what? I don’t hate you,” he frowned, resisting his urge to put his hands back on the omega’s shoulders.
“Yes, you do,” Jimin insisted, lips pouting out as he looked up at Yoongi—how he seemed so much smaller in that very moment was beyond Yoongi’s comprehension, but it just made him want to comfort him even more. “Y-you don’t want anything to do with me.
