Pirate Captain Phantom had a wonderful idea after accepting a job from an anonymous source: instead of killing Governor Masters and his children, he would kidnap the man's beloved daughter and ransom her for gold and information about his missing father. Only, he manages to capture the son, not the daughter. Not the most auspicious start, especially since someone had wanted the boy dead, not saved, not hidden, and definitely not protected by the very pirates who were meant to kill him.
