A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step
It’s no simple feat, being a Samurai was no child’s play. Courage, Integrity, Benevolence, Respect, Honesty, Honor, and Loyalty, those were the principles that the samurai live by. One must be disciplined, and driven to stand by the Bushidō.
But what business do young children have here? This wasn’t a playground, something to make light of. Men live and die by these rules, many losing their lives for the sake of the Bushidō. But if they truly desire to be a warrior, that they would lay down their lives for the sake of their duties the moment the katana reaches their grip, then who could stop them?
They may be young, but there’s something powerful and poetic to be made when a youthful flame blossoms into a raging inferno.
The path one takes to become a Samurai is a long and winding one, the hardships one will endure would be enough to crumble the mightiest, but no one told them it would be easy.
