Bucky - and Tony could hardly believe he was sleeping with a man who called himself Bucky - had not been the first man to talk to him at the bar, but he had been the first one to march over and tell Tony that he couldn’t monopolize the jukebox with AC/DC songs. One thing had led to another and several drinks later, they’d been exchanging handjobs in the bathroom.

Bucky walked into the bar with his last twenty and a scowl that could have peeled rust off of iron, slapping the bill on the bartop with his prosthetic hand. “Gimme the strongest thing this’ll buy,” he snapped. The bartender took one look at Bucky before he unscrewed the serving tip off of a bottle of rum and handed him the half-full bottle. Bucky grinned, all teeth, and poured himself a generous serving into a glass and knocked back the drink with his good hand.
“Whoa there, might want to slow down,” a voice said from his left. He turned sharply and almost lost his breath as he met the gaze of the most beautiful man he’d seen in a while. He was clearly older. Silver threaded through his hair and was peppered in his well-groomed goatee, but he wore his age well. His whiskey brown eyes were crinkled into a smile and his soft pink lips were quirked up as he sipped from a glass full of a clear but sparkling liquid with a lime wedge on the rim.
(Or Bucky meets the man of his dreams and proceeds to get cockblocked by babies, his family, and Tony himself, before he finally gets his happily ever after.)

—Tony stands in front of the mirror and nervously adjusts the cuffs of his bespoke suit. He fiddles with the cufflinks shaped like the atoms of the element he created (a present from Rhodey for his forty-something birthday) and tries to breathe in slowly and calm his nerves. This is his fifth and probably last date with Steve and he wants to commemorate the moment with his most polished look. The suit is his armor and it’ll carry him through to the bitter end.

And that was all fine, until he met Isaac Upton, a ship's master with a sharp tongue and a sharper temper, a man who seemed willing to castigate any and all members of the Admiralty who were inclined to cheat his captain, regardless of their power or influence.

It just kind of bugs Archer. Beau is so casual with it, too. “Hurry up, princess,” when Archer was taking too long to set up his add-ons for their next battle. “Let’s do that, princess,” when Archer suggested a strategy for a battle or a mission. Or even, “Missed me, princess?” when Archer commented that it had been a while since they’d done a proper session together.
Maybe Beau is just a ridiculous person who calls his friends random shit all the time. Archer wouldn’t mind that, but the part that he does mind, is that he likes being called ‘princess’. He actually enjoys it. It makes him feel warm and cared for, which is fucking ridiculous, because Beau is just his buddy who he plays an online roleplaying game with.
