After war James had nothing better to do than to become a photographer, his therapist said it was a great idea, so that was that.
But as he stared the Russian down he wondered if the therapist was actually right. How much did he pay her again? Probably not enough since she encouraged bad ideas. He should find a new one. Someone who wouldn't recommend him working with a fucking Russian.
He also wondered if he could kill the man in front of him and get away with it.
"Oleksiy James Kovalenko," the man in front of him listed trough his CV, "You want to work for me?"
"What I want to do is kick-drop you."

Summary
Catalina twists his words around, and he watches her do it. He lets her make up new words when his don’t get her far enough. His sense of self unravels quickly, and he accepts this version of himself without comment because it keeps her happy. His boundaries don’t exist. He doesn’t think there’s anything she can do it him that he wouldn’t let happen.
She just didn't account for how deeply Dick mourns his brother.

Summary
The girl and magic staff were nowhere to be seen, instead a fine layer of blue, shimmering dust covered the ground. In the center, where Red Hood and Nightwing should have been, was what looked like a pile of yellow and black fabric until it started shifting and moving, revealing itself to be two human forms.
Tim stopped dead in his tracks, nearly slipping in the dust, causing Robin — who was apparently right behind him — to crash into his back.
Robin mumbled a few curse words directed at him, but stopped short when he saw what was in front of them.
It was two young boys, both with messy black hair, both covered in a fine layer of glittering blue dust, and both wearing the old Robin costume. It was Dick's design, the brighter one, closer in color to what the Flying Graysons had worn, and with a startling lack of pants. But it was the one that Jason had worn too.

Or, Dick and Jason get de-aged by some magic, assumptions are made, and those assumptions are very, very wrong.
